The William F. Walsh Regional Transportation Center is the long-distance ground travel terminal serving the Syracuse, New York area. It is served by Amtrak, Greyhound Lines, Megabus, and Trailways. Local and regional bus transportation is provided by the Central New York Regional Transportation Authority (CENTRO). Various taxi firms service the Center, as well. The Regional Transportation Center is located on the north side of Syracuse, adjacent to the Central New York Regional Market and near Destiny USA.
The Hanover–Würzburg high-speed railway was the first of several high-speed railway lines for InterCityExpress traffic that were built in Germany. While technically starting in the village of Rethen and ending several kilometres north of Würzburg Hauptbahnhof, it is a de facto link between Hanover and Würzburg, with stops at Göttingen, Kassel, and Fulda. Early construction started in 1973, the line opening fully in 1991.
The Murray to Mountains Rail Trail is a cycling and walking rail trail in northern Victoria, Australia. It extends from Wangaratta to Bright, with a side branch to Beechworth, following the route of the former Bright railway line. This side branch trail is planned to be extended from Beechworth to Yackandandah. AU$12m was budgeted by the Victoria State Government for this extension in May 2017. Unusually for a rail trail, it is sealed for virtually the entire distance of approximately 95 kilometres.

The line was one of the earliest routes constructed in Victoria, serving the major town in the region of Beechworth that was active in campaigning for a railway to be constructed to serve the town possibly as part of the main route into New South Wales.
The Bright railway line was a railway line in Victoria, Australia constructed by the Victorian Railways as a branch from the previously constructed Yackandandah line to Beechworth, with the Bright line branching at Everton. The line followed the Ovens Valley opening as far as Myrtleford on 17 December 1883 being extended to Bright on 17 October 1890.

Downtown Rowlett station is a light rail and bus station operated by Dallas Area Rapid Transit in Rowlett, Texas (USA). It is the northern terminus of the DART Blue Line. Before rail service began in December 2012, the station was known as Rowlett Park & Ride.

GRYR interchanges at Jackson, Mississippi, with the Canadian National Railway, and at Memphis, Tennessee with CN, Norfolk Southern, Union Pacific, and CSX. The main commodities the Class III railroad hauls include chemicals, flour, lumber, paper, plastics, and petroleum. Virgin MiamiCentral, formerly MiamiCentral, is a mixed-use railroad station development in the Government Center district of Downtown, Miami, Florida. Currently, the station serves an inter-city rail service named Virgin Trains USA and connects to the adjacent Government Center station serving Metrorail, Metromover, and bus lines. In the next few years, the station will serve Tri-Rail commuter rail. The 9-acre complex also includes 3 million square feet of residential, office, commercial, and retail development. The station was built by All Aboard Florida, a subsidiary of Florida East Coast Industries (FECI) overseeing Virgin Trains USA. Virgin MiamiCentral was designed by Skidmore, Owings & Merrill in association with Zyscovich Architects. Its name was changed from MiamiCentral to Virgin MiamiCentral on April 4, 2019.
The Olympia and Belmore Railroad is a short-line railroad headquartered in Centralia, Washington, USA. The railroad operates a line leased from the BNSF Railway which runs between Olympia and Belmore. The company began operations in 2016. It is a subsidiary of Genesee & Wyoming.
West Palm Beach station is an inter-city rail station in West Palm Beach, Florida. It is served by Virgin Trains USA, connecting Miami and Orlando International Airport. The station is located in downtown West Palm Beach, on Evernia Street between Rosemary Avenue and Quadrille Boulevard. This is about half a mile east of Amtrak and Tri-Rail's West Palm Beach station and half a mile south of the older Florida East Coast Railway station that operated on the same tracks in the first half of the 1900s, next to where Quadrille Boulevard turns south after crossing the Flagler Memorial Bridge.
