Brighter/Later: A Duncan Sheik Anthology is a compilation album by American singer-songwriter Duncan Sheik. It was released on Rhino Records in 2006.

The title of the two-disc album is a play on (and tribute to) singer-songwriter Nick Drake's second album, Bryter Layter . In addition to singles, album cuts, and concert favorites, the album contains a number of rarities and previously unreleased tracks, including a studio recording of "Lost On The Moon" (from the international-only version of the Daylight album), "Wishful Thinking" from the Great Expectations soundtrack, an unreleased recording of Joni Mitchell's "Court And Spark", an unreleased remix of "For You", a new live recording of "Home", and "hidden" tracks from Humming (the eight-minute "Foreshadowing") and Daylight ("Chimera").

Duncan Sheik is an American singer-songwriter, composer, and actor. Sheik is known for his 1996 debut single "Barely Breathing", which earned him a Grammy Award nomination for Best Male Pop Vocal Performance. He has composed music for motion pictures and Broadway musicals, winning the 2007 Tony Awards for Best Original Score and Best Orchestrations for his work on the musical Spring Awakening.
Lesley Cox was an English singer-songwriter, best known for her work during the 1970s. She received much airplay on British radio stations such as BBC Radio 1 and BBC Radio 2, but never achieved greater commercial success, in part because of her unwillingness to chase stardom, as well as crippling stage fright.

California Concerts is a live album by saxophonist and bandleader Gerry Mulligan featuring performances recorded at the Stockton High School and Hoover High School in California in late 1954 and released on the Pacific Jazz label. The original LP was the first 12 inch LP to be released on the Pacific Jazz label in 1955. The Gerry Mulligan feature track "Polka Dots and Moonbeams" with Bob Brookmeyer on piano was first released on the compilation LP The Genius of Gerry Mulligan in 1960. Although the tracks were recorded at a high school, recording took place on weekends and in the evening. Chet Baker was originally chosen to be the trumpet player of the session, but was jailed for his ongoing heroin addiction, so trumpeter Jon Eardley took Baker’s place sounding very similar to Baker.
Legerdemain is a 2015 studio album by American singer-songwriter Duncan Sheik. The album has received positive reviews from critics and is a transitional one for Sheik as a songwriter, borrowing from his love of electronic music as well as his work scoring musical theater. The music was written contemporaneously to scoring American Psycho, and is his first album of original popular music in almost a decade and was supported by live performances around his Broadway theatre schedule.
