The Brisbane Women's Premier League, BWPL, is the first tier of women's senior Football (Association Football) in Brisbane, Queensland and third overall in Australia.
The league saw changes in the 2016 Season with a new sponsor, being known as the Mt. Franklin Women's Premier League, and the introduction of a reserve league. Due to the late changes to the league it will exist with 12 clubs in 2016 and 4 clubs will be relegated and 2 promoted from the newly created Women's Capital League 1.

The club was formed in 1960 and has a prestigious history as holders of several titles including the Ampol Cup, State Championship and several State League Premierships. The National Premier League Queensland, run by Football Queensland, is the top tier state-level soccer competition in Queensland. The conference is a sub division of the National Premier Leagues. The inaugural season kicked off in March 2013 and consisted of 12 teams. Grange Thistle is an Australian association football club based in Grange, Queensland. In 2024, the club fielded 12 senior teams and more than 95 junior teams. Both senior teams currently compete in the Football Queensland Premier League 2.
Holland Park Hawks FC is a football club based in Camp Hill, Queensland. They will be competing in the Football Queensland Premier League, the 3rd division on the football pyramid of Australia, after achieving promotion from Football Queensland Premier League 2 in 2024. The club has youth teams which also compete in Football Queensland Academy Leagues which starts at U9 and ends at U18's.
Capital League 4 is the fifth tier of men's senior football (soccer) in Brisbane, Queensland and Level 8 within the Australian soccer league system. It is administered by Football Brisbane. All clubs participating in Capital League 4 must field two teams, one in first grade, and another in the reserves competition. Clubs in the NPL and Brisbane Premier League cannot field their reserves teams in this division. This division was the lowest in the Football Brisbane structure in 2017, was not required in 2018 following a restructure of Queensland football which resulted in many Football Brisbane clubs joining the newly formed Football Queensland Premier League.
North Brisbane FC is an Australian football (soccer) club from Lutwyche, an inner northern suburb of Brisbane. The club was formed in 1957 as the Polonia Soccer Club. The club was reborn under club president Kerry Harmon, Treasurer Greg Vitulano and secretary Paul Brown in 2015 and it competes in Capital League 2, rejoining the Football Brisbane league structure in 2015. In recent years, the club has formed alliances with both Newfarm Punjabi Sports Club and the Queensland University of Technology Football Club."NBFC" as it is affectionately known will undergo a ground refit in late 2019 consisting of a new playing surface, fencing and extra change room for players. The club has a good female contingent. 45% of its registered players are female and they had a team in the Women's Brisbane Premier League for 2019. Men's Capital League 4 was dissolved and the club competed in League 3 in 2017 and was promoted. In 2018 the club expanded its Men's City League teams to 3 and had some lower grade success with the City League 7 team performing well and reaching the grand final under super coach Carlo Borzellega and "man manager" Chris Tully's guidance in 2018 and 2019. The Women's City League 4 side also had success reaching the 2019 grand final.
