Brudekronen (The Bridal Crown) is a 1944 Norwegian drama film directed by Walter Fyrst, starring Carl Habel, Trygve Svendsen and Ingrid Lysaker. The film is about the two half-brothers Knut (Svendsen) and Aasmund (Habel) and their family farm, Storlien. Knut is the heir, and wants to demolish the old houses that Aasmund love, to build hotels. There is also a romantic rivalry in their fight over the girl Inga (Lysaker).

Aasmund Brynildsen was a Norwegian essayist, biographer, magazine editor and publishing house consultant.

Knut Bohwim was a leading Norwegian film director. He co-founded the company Teamfilm A/S in 1962. His debut as film director was Operasjon Sjøsprøyt from 1964. He directed the war drama Det største spillet from 1967, about the double agent Gunvald Tomstad. He directed twelve films of the Olsenbanden series, the largest commercial success in Norwegian film history. Bohwim was awarded the Amanda Honorary Award in 1997, shared with Aud Schønemann.

Knut Andersen was a Norwegian film director. He was born in Harstad. He directed a series of films, including Sus og dus på by'n (1968), Ballad of the Masterthief Ole Hoiland (1970), Marikens bryllup (1972), Under a Stone Sky (1974), Karjolsteinen (1977), and Den sommeren jeg fylte 15 (1975). He received the Amanda Committee's Honorary Award in 2007.

Walter Fyrst was a Norwegian filmmaker. He was born in Kristiania, the son of the physician Valentin Fürst and Margarethe Christiane Dedekam. His first film was Troll-elgen from 1927, based on two novels by Mikkjel Fønhus. Other films were Cafe X from 1928 and Brudekronen from 1944. Fyrst made propaganda films for the Nazi regime during the occupation of Norway by Nazi Germany.
