Buckles and Boots is the second studio album by Canadian country-rock artist Ridley Bent. The album was released on November 27, 2007 by Open Road Recordings. Its first single, "Heartland Heartbreak," reached the Top 30 on the Canadian Country Singles chart.

Ridley Bent is a Canadian country singer-songwriter. Born in Halifax, Nova Scotia, Bent was raised throughout Canada in a military family. He formally launched his musical career in 2000.

Open Road Recordings, a division of RGK Entertainment Group Ltd., is a Canadian country music record label established by Ron Kitchener in 2003 and distributed through Universal Music Canada.

Tom Petty and the Heartbreakers was an American rock band from Gainesville, Florida. Formed in 1976, the band originally comprised Tom Petty, Mike Campbell, Ron Blair, Stan Lynch (drums), and Benmont Tench (keyboards). In 1981, Blair, weary of the touring lifestyle, departed the band. His replacement, Howie Epstein, stayed with the band for the next two decades. The song was the first single that Twain co-wrote with her then-husband Mutt Lange. The song became Twain's first hit at country radio, peaking at number 11.
