Budapest Rangers, founded in 2004, are a bandy sports club based in Budapest, Hungary.[ citation needed ]
The club is probably the best team in Hungary, with many of the players representing the Hungarian national bandy team.[ citation needed ] There has been a cup competition played between six teams with smaller sized teams than the traditional eleven due to a shortage of players in Hungary. The club's first team finished in second place with the second team finishing in third position.[ citation needed ]

Ferenc Puskás was a Hungarian footballer and manager, widely regarded as one of the greatest players of all time and the sport's first international superstar. A Forward and an Attacking midfielder, he scored 84 goals in 85 international matches for Hungary and played four international matches for Spain. He became an Olympic champion in 1952 and led his nation to the final of the 1954 World Cup. He won three European Cups, ten national championships and eight top individual scoring honors. Known as the "Galloping Major", in 1995, he was recognized as the greatest top division scorer of the 20th century by the IFFHS. With 806 goals in 793 official games scored during his career, he is the seventh top goalscorer of all time.
József Bozsik was a Hungarian footballer who played as a central midfielder. He spent his entire club career at his hometown club, Budapest Honvéd. Bozsik was a key member of the legendary Golden Team as he represented Hungary in various international tournaments. Honvéd named their stadium, Bozsik József Stadion, after him.

The 1991 Bandy World Championship was contested between eight men's bandy playing nations. The championship was played in Finland from 17–24 March 1991. Canada, Hungary and the Netherlands made their championship debuts. The Soviet Union became champions in what would become its last tournament; less than a year later, the Soviet Union was dissolved and would be replaced in international bandy briefly by the Commonwealth of Independent States and then permanently by Russia. The final game was played at Oulunkylä Ice Rink in Helsinki. Canada's national men's bandy team made their world bandy debut at this tournament.
Békéscsaba 1912 Előre is a Hungarian football club from Békéscsaba. The club was founded in 1912 as Előre Munkás Testedző Egyesület. The colours of the club are lilac and white. The club achieved its greatest success in 1988 when it won the Hungarian Cup competition, defeating Budapest Honvéd FC 3–2 in the final.

Hungarian Bandy Federation is the governing body for bandy in Hungary. The headquarters is in Budapest. The association was founded in 1988 as Magyar Jéglabda Szövetség and became a member in Federation of International Bandy in 1989.
