Buen Pais is a small town located in Tuxpan Municipality, Jalisco, Mexico. The population was 224 according to the 2020 census. [1] It's close to two major cities, Colima and Guadalajara.

For the most part Buen Pais produces corn, agave and sugar cane. There is also a small silver mine.

Buenpais is also known for its rough terrain which bicyclists enjoy using. In October 2007 there was a video made featuring cyclists using there roads for bicycle races it also has many pictures of the town featured in the video.

There is also much demand for agave by a liquor company who produces various agave based spirits (mostly sub 35% ABV licor de agave, some with flavorings) by the name of Buen Pais.

The architectural style of the town is colonial Spanish. The Patron Saint of the town is the Sacred Heart of Jesus. They usually celebrate the saint 3 days in May and 1 day in June.

Los Mazos is a town situated in Tuxpan Municipality, Jalisco, Mexico. The population was 132 according to the 2020 census. Los Mazos sits at a height of 1,780 meters. Located on the skirts of a couple of volcanoes, an inactive one called El Nevado de Colima and an active one called the Volcan de Colima, also known as the Volcan de Fuego or "fire volcano". It is located near the city of Tuxpan and is located within its municipality. The town of Los Mazos once belonged to a bigger hacienda and shares a common water system and storage pools called "tanques" with Las Canoas, another few tanques are located throughout the region. The tanques are constructed with cement and stone, and coated in a mixture of cement and ox blood giving them a dark ocher look, these tanques were used to store potable, cattle and plant water.

Monte Escobedo is a municipality and town located in the southwestern area of the Mexican state of Zacatecas. With a total population of 8683 people.

Tequila is a train station located in Tequila, Jalisco. The station is surrounded by agaves and is currently only served by the Tequila Express tourist train.
