Burning Inside was an American death metal band formed by ex-members of various other groups. It was formed in 1995 by Steve Childers and Richard Christy. They soon added Jamie Prim. Michael Estes joined in 1996. In 2000, Burning Inside released their first album, The Eve of the Entities. In 2001, Burning Inside released their second album, Apparition. The band released their final self-titled album in September 2007, which was independently released through online music stores, as the band were no longer signed to any label.

Horror Show is the sixth studio album from the American heavy metal band Iced Earth, released June 26, 2001. It is a concept album based on classic monsters and horror-movie icons, including Dracula, Frankenstein, and The Phantom. It was the first Iced Earth album to feature drummer Richard Christy, and the only album to feature Steve DiGiorgio on bass, though he did not tour with the band. Horror Show is usually considered Iced Earth's only straightforward power metal release, as little of the thrash metal influence from the band's earlier works is present. This album also featured more prominent usage of Matt Barlow's multi-layered vocals as a center point for the songs.

Born and raised in Kansas, Christy took an interest in rock and heavy metal music in his youth, and started playing the drums at age ten. He played in several bands while at school.

The release was limited to 2,000 copies, digitally remastered using 24-bit process on golden disc. The album was also rereleased in 2010 by Relapse Records, available in 2 disc, and 3 disc editions. The 3 disc edition was limited to 1,000 copies.

They have been featured in movies, TV shows, and many sporting video games such as NHL 2002, NHL 2003, NHL 2004 and Madden NFL 2004 with songs such as "Oh! Ellin", "I've Been Up These Steps", "Sick With You", "I Hear You Calling" and "Give Up The Grudge". The band has appeared at several music festivals, the most well-known being the Vans Warped Tour. Thacker is also a lead guitarist for fellow Canadian rock band Sum 41.

It was also their last album with Century Media until they returned to the label in 2010. This record was first released in 2001 in the box set Dark Genesis, but was re-released as a standalone disc in 2002. It was then re-released as part of the set Enter the Realm of the Gods along with the band's 1989 demo Enter the Realm in 2008 with new cover artwork.
