History
Solar Entertainment first launched its namesake entertainment cable channel in the early 2000s, one devoted to American programs. This channel was later known as Solar USA (the acronym stands for "Ultimate in Suspense and Action"), and then later simply as USA. USA was replaced by two separate channels in 2005. Solar USA's comedy and general entertainment programming was moved to Jack TV, while action and crime dramas were given a new separate channel, Crime/Suspense, later launched in October of that year.
As part of a partnership established with the Radio Philippines Network, C/S became the on-air brand for its network of over-the-air stations across the Philippines on January 1, 2008. The C/S cable channel was later rebranded as C/S Origin in September of the same year, while the RPN network later changed its branding to C/S 9 the next month, and then changed its name to Solar TV on November 29, 2009.
On December 24, 2011, CHASE was launched. This is the revival TV network of C/S because of its similar format. On October 20, 2012, it was rebranded as Jack City, carrying the same format. On March 22, 2015, Jack City was rebranded as CT (now defunct).
TV5 is a major Philippine free-to-air television and radio network headquartered in Mandaluyong, with additional studios in Novaliches, Quezon City. It serves as the flagship network of TV5 Network, Inc., owned by MediaQuest Holdings, the multimedia subsidiary of the telecommunications conglomerate PLDT. TV5 is popularly known as "The 'Kapatid' Network", employing the Filipino term for "sibling", a branding that was introduced in 2010.
Cloo, formerly known as Sleuth, was an American pay television channel owned and operated by NBCUniversal which aired programming originally dedicated to the crime and mystery genres, though it often fell out of this format in its later years with a more generic selection of series and films, and was used as an example of channel drift and superfluous channel bundling, presenting series easily found through other venues. The channel launched on January 1, 2006, replacing Trio. It ceased broadcasting on February 1, 2017.
Toledo 5, The CW was a local origination cable television channel based in Toledo, Ohio that was operated by the Buckeye CableSystem, itself owned by locally based Block Communications. Originally exclusive to Buckeye’s subscribers in Northwest Ohio and carried on channel 5 throughout its service area, the channel later expanded distribution to other cable providers throughout the Toledo designated market area, which carried Toledo 5 on various channel positions determined by each provider.

It was formerly available over and also broadcast via BEAM Channel 31. Launched on December 24, 2011, its programming was focused on suspense, science fiction, and drama series. It dissolved its operations on October 19, 2012 as it had been replaced by Jack City, the secondary network channel of Jack TV, although some of its programs are still carried over by said network station channel.

Its headquarters are located at the Ground Floor of the Worldwide Corporate Center, Epifanio de los Santos Avenue corner Shaw Boulevard, Mandaluyong, sharing with its former parent Solar Entertainment.
Jack City was a Filipino cable and satellite television network based in Shaw Boulevard, Mandaluyong. Formerly known as Chase, it serves as the spin-off channel to Jack TV. Owned by Solar Entertainment Corporation, the channel is currently broadcast on Cignal Digital TV channel 22, Destiny Cable channel 64 (analog) & channel 138 (digital), Cablelink channel 40, and SkyCable channel 138 (digital) and other cable operators in the Philippines, and is also available on live streaming via video-on-demand service Blink. It was also previously aired on BEAM TV from 2012 to 2014.

CNN Philippines was a Philippine free-to-air television network owned and operated by Nine Media Corporation, together with Radio Philippines Network (RPN), under license from Warner Bros. Discovery Asia-Pacific. It was launched on March 16, 2015, replacing 9TV, and was available on various platforms, including cable, satellite, live streaming and through the RPN network's television stations. CNN Philippines was the fifth local franchise of CNN in Asia, after CNN Indonesia, CNN Türk, CNN Arabic and CNN-IBN, and was formed after a brand licensing agreement with CNN Worldwide and Nine Media in 2014.
