The Controlled Drugs and Substances Act is Canada's federal drug control statute. Passed in 1996 under Prime Minister Jean Chrétien's government, it repeals the Narcotic Control Act and Parts III and IV of the Food and Drugs Act; and establishes eight Schedules of controlled substances and two Classes of precursors. Methyprylon (Noludar) was a sedative of the piperidinedione derivative family developed by Hoffmann-La Roche. This medicine was used for treating insomnia, but is now rarely used as it has been replaced by newer drugs with fewer side effects, such as benzodiazepines. Methyprylon was withdrawn from the US market in June 1965 and the Canadian market in September 1990. Some other trade names are Noctan and Dimerin.

The most recent stable release, iOS 12.2 was released on March 25, 2019. The most recent iOS beta release, iOS 12.3 Beta 1 was released on March 27, 2019.
