The California Association of Regional Occupational Centers and Programs (CAROCP) is an organization that promotes and supports ROCPs in providing career education, career development, and workforce preparation that contributes to student academic and career success and to the economic development of California. CAROCP has 72 centers and programs in California. The programs offers occupational training to students in the K - 16 educational system. The goal of ROP is to help students gain knowledge and skills for future careers.
Regional Occupational Centers and Programs originated in 1967. There are 74 ROCPs in California that serve almost 520,000 high school students and adults annually. ROCPs operate under three different governing formats:
ROCPs are designed to serve the state's interests in providing quality career preparation and technical education.
Technical education courses are offered in areas such as Graphic Design, Information Technology, Agriculture, Business, Culinary Arts, Healthcare, Construction, and Auto Technology. ROCPs offer tuition-free courses. The course offerings are based upon current and future local labor market demands. ROCP teachers are fully credentialed by the California Commission on Teacher Credentialing. The teachers utilize their industry experience to prepare students for a competitive job market.

The college has two principal campuses in Scooba and Mayhew, Mississippi and offers courses at five other locations. One of fifteen community colleges in Mississippi, EMCC is accredited by the Southern Association of Colleges and Schools Commission on Colleges (SACSCOC) to award the Associate of Applied Science degree and the Associate of Arts degree.
Coastline Community College is a public community college with three mini-campuses in Westminster, Garden Grove, and Newport Beach and an administration building in Fountain Valley, California. The college offers Associate in Arts degrees, Associate in Science degrees, courses to prepare students to transfer to a four-year college or university, and career and technical courses that can lead to career advancement and/or an occupational certificate. The Morris County School of Technology is a vocational magnet public high school located in Denville Township, in Morris County, United States, operating as part of the Morris County Vocational School District. Students apply to one of the 13 different academies in a process that starts the 8th grade year of local students. Elgin Community College (ECC) is a public community college in Elgin, Illinois. It was founded in 1949 as part of Elgin Area School District U46. Community College District 509 was formed 17 years later in 1966, a year after Illinois legislators created the Illinois Community College System. The Southern California Regional Occupational Center or SoCal ROC is located in Torrance, California. It is a Joint Powers Authority serving 6 school districts. As of 2020, the six school districts sent less than 20 high school students each. SoCal ROC is accredited by the Western Association of Schools and Colleges. Admission is open to high school and adult students throughout Southern California.

The Gevirtz Graduate School of Education is a graduate school at the University of California, Santa Barbara which specializes in the field of education and counseling, clinical and school psychology. It is located in technology-enabled Education Building which has been built in 2009 on the UCSB campus. In 2013, the Gevirtz School was once again named one of the best graduate schools of education in the United States by U.S. News & World Report. In addition to its graduate programs, it also contains the Koegel Autism Center, Hosford Counseling & Psychological Clinic, the Psychology Assessment Center, and the McEnroe Reading & Language Arts Clinic. The Gevirtz School has a pre-K – 6 laboratory school, The Harding University Partnership School, in the Santa Barbara Unified School District.
College of Western Idaho (CWI) is a public community college in Southwest Idaho with its primary campus locations in Boise and Nampa. CWI also offers classes at several community locations throughout the Treasure Valley. It is one of four comprehensive community colleges in Idaho and is governed by a five-member board of trustees elected at large by voters in Ada and Canyon counties.
