Carew was the name of an electoral ward in Pembrokeshire, Wales. It was also coterminous with the boundaries of the community of Carew.
A ward of Pembrokeshire County Council since 1995 it was previously a ward of the former South Pembrokeshire District Council.
Following the recommendations of a boundary review by the Local Government Boundary Commission for Wales, effective from the 2022 local elections, the Carew ward was merged with the neighbouring community of Jeffreyston to create a new ward of 'Carew and Jeffreyston'. [1]
In 2012, Neale was returned unopposed. [2]

Carmarthen West and South Pembrokeshire is a constituency of the House of Commons of the Parliament of the United Kingdom. It elects one Member of Parliament (MP) by the first past the post system of election.
Dinas Cross is a village, a community and a former parish in Pembrokeshire, Wales. Located between Fishguard and Newport in the Pembrokeshire Coast National Park, it is a popular holiday destination on the A487 road. The two hamlets, Cwm-yr-Eglwys and Pwllgwaelod, are in the community. The community has an elected community council and until 2022 gave its name to an electoral ward of Pembrokeshire County Council which covered the communities of Dinas Cross, Cwm Gwaun and Puncheston.
