The La Crosse Catbirds was an American basketball team based in La Crosse, Wisconsin and member of the Continental Basketball Association (CBA). The Catbirds were the 1990 and 1992 CBA champions. The team moved to La Crosse from Louisville in 1985, and left La Crosse for Pittsburgh in May 1994. La Crosse would see the CBA return in 1995 when the La Crosse Bobcats took to the court.
Gor is a town of Granada, in southwestern Spain. La Madre Mountain Wilderness Area consists of 47,180 acres (19,090 ha) covering a part of Clark County, Nevada, that lies just west of the city of Las Vegas, between that city and Mount Charleston. The area includes La Madre Mountain and several archaeological areas including the Brownstone Canyon Archaeological District. The area is administered by the Humboldt-Toiyabe National Forest and the Bureau of Land Management.

The University of La Guajira, also known as Uniguajira, is a public, departmental, coeducational, university based primarily in the city of Riohacha, La Guajira, Colombia. The university was established by ordinance No. 011 and 012 of 1976, by the Departmental Assembly, and opened in February 1977. Its main campus, known as the University Citadel, is located in the outskirts of the city, and it hosts the faculties of Basic Sciences, Economic and Administrative Sciences, Education Sciences, Engineering, and Social and Humanity Sciences. The university also has several satellite campuses across the department in the cities of Albania, Fonseca, Maicao, Manaure, and Villanueva, and one campus in the department of Córdoba in the city of Montería. The university offers education at technical, undergraduate and postgraduate levels. The mascot is a jellyfish, symbolizing power and simplicity.

Baldy Cinco, elevation 13,379 feet, is a mountain in Hinsdale and Mineral counties in southern Colorado. The mountain, a thirteener, is located on the Continental Divide in the San Juan Mountains. Different areas of the slopes of Baldy Cinco lie in the Rio Grande National Forest, the La Garita Wilderness, and the Gunnison National Forest. The mountain is located just north of Snow Mesa and east northeast of Spring Creek Pass.
The 2019 Los Angeles Marathon, the 34th annual edition of the Los Angeles Marathon, was held in Los Angeles, California, United States on March 24, 2019. The men's race was won by Kenya's Elisha Barno, and the women's race was won by Ethiopia's Askale Merachi in a course record time. The race is the fourth-largest marathon in the U.S. with 19,992 finishers. The last finisher crossed the finish line 8:43:03 after the 6:55 a.m. start.
