Carter Creek is a stream in northeast Crawford County in the U.S. state of Missouri. [1] It is a tributary of the Meramec River.

The stream headwaters arise approximately one mile east of Bourbon at 38°08′56″N91°12′18″W / 38.1488889°N 91.2050000°W / 38.1488889; -91.2050000 and it flows east to southeast for about 3.5 miles to its confluence with the Meramec at 38°07′31″N91°08′48″W / 38.125325°N 91.146530°W / 38.125325; -91.146530 Coordinates: 38°07′31″N91°08′48″W / 38.125325°N 91.146530°W / 38.125325; -91.146530 . The Bourbeuse flows to the northeast from its source near the locale of Dillon just northeast of Rolla in Phelps County, through Maries, Gasconade, Crawford, and Franklin counties, where it discharges into the Meramec River near Moselle.
