Cast is a rock band from Mexico. Formed in 1978, they specialize in progressive rock, similar in style to early Genesis. Their music focuses strongly on keyboards, guitars and vocals. The band host an annual progressive rock festival called Baja Prog in Mexicali, Baja California, Mexico, which features bands from around the world.

The Flower Kings are a Swedish progressive rock band formed in 1994 by guitarist and singer-songwriter Roine Stolt. The group began as Stolt's touring band to support his third solo album The Flower King. They continued performing after the tour and have gone on to become one of the most prolific studio recording units in progressive rock, having released over twenty hours of music spread across fourteen studio albums. Mostly Autumn are an English rock band. The group formed in 1995 and have built their reputation through constant touring, never signing to a major label. They produce music heavily influenced by 1970s progressive rock. According to the BBC, Mostly Autumn "fuse the music of Genesis and Pink Floyd with Celtic themes, hard rock and strong, emotional melodies". They have also been compared with other progressive bands from the same era such as Renaissance, Jethro Tull and Camel, blended with traditional folk music. Later albums also include more contemporary influences.

Änglagård is a Swedish progressive rock band, with influences including King Crimson, Genesis, Gentle Giant, Trettioåriga Kriget, Schicke Führs Fröhling, and Van der Graaf Generator. The band was established in 1991 by Tord Lindman and Johan Högberg, and broke up in 1994. They briefly reformed in 2002–2003, and have been active again since 2009. They combine vintage analog sounds with a modern classical approach to composing and arranging. While Heaven Wept was an American epic doom metal band based in Dale City, Virginia, United States. The primary writer and overall engine of the band was mainman Tom Phillips. Hortus Animae

Hortus Animae is a progressive black metal band from Northern and Central Italy. They formed in 1997 in the town of Rimini (Romagna). After the release of their self-produced debut The Melting Idols, they began an active live streak with bands like Lacuna Coil, Ancient and Napalm Death. Upon opening for the cult Norwegian black metal band Ancient in Padova (Italy), the band developed a friendship with their drummer Grom, who soon after joined the band out of admiration for their work and made it his primary side-project. At this point the band began the recording process of their 2nd album and 1st official release Waltzing Mephisto which had been years in the writing. The album was recorded at the well known Italian metal studios Fear. Following the recording, the band signed deal with Greek label Black Lotus Records in October 2002 and subsequently with Sleaszy Rider Records (EMI) for their 3rd and most evolved concept-album The Blow Of Furious Winds in May 2005.

Braindance (band)

Braindance is a NYC-based progressive darkwave musical group. Formed in 1992 by electric guitarist - record producer, Vora Vor, and drummer Rob Notoris as a progressive rock band, the group added vocalist Sebastian Elliott later that year. Bassist Eiki Matsumoto and keyboardist Robyn Naylor filled out the lineup (1993–1996). Matsumoto left the project to be replaced by former Ion Vein bassist, Andrew Bunk (1996). Notoris, Naylor, and Bunk departed the band to pursue other projects (1997–1999), although Bunk later returned to record on the band's 2014 fourth album, Master Of Disguise.
