Two singles from the album were released – "Sowing Season" on November 21, 2006, and "Jesus Christ" on April 30, 2007. The album peaked at No. 31 on the Billboard 200, becoming the band's highest-charting record at the time of its release.
The Naked Brothers Band is an American musical comedy television series created by Polly Draper, which aired on Nickelodeon from February 3, 2007, to June 13, 2009. The recordings originally leaked on January 24, 2006 before eventually being officially released on cassette tape nearly ten years later on December 2, 2015. On January 12, 2016, the songs were made available as a pay what you want digital download.
