Celebrity Eye Candy is a television series on VH1 that first aired on December 15, 2005. It features photos and videos of celebrities the paparazzi took within the past week.
Frequently the celebrities were shown in a poor light.
The host of the show is never seen and is a voice-over only. He often opens the show with a humorous song about the video that was presented over the course of the show. In addition, the host normally sings a few songs about celebrities doing normal things, such as scratching an itch or grocery shopping.
The show initially aired weekly episodes for approximately 4 months but with mediocre ratings. It was put on hiatus in July 2006. It returned in February 2007, on a more sporadic airing basis.

Idol Gives Back was the name of a charitable campaign that spanned two episodes of American Idol during its sixth season. A second Idol Gives Back concert and fundraiser occurred on April 9, 2008, during the seventh season of the show. Idol Gives Back was not held in 2009 due to the economic crisis and recession. The executive producer released a statement saying that it was not the time to be asking for money from the American public. However, the fundraiser returned on April 21, 2010, during the top 7 results show of season 9. It did not return in future seasons.
Text Santa was a charity initiative set up in 2011 by ITV to support UK-based charities during the Christmas period. The appeal to the public is to donate money mainly via text donation and profits from merchandise. The telethons have been hosted by popular ITV presenters including Phillip Schofield, Christine Bleakley, and Ant & Dec. The 2015 appeal show was the last after ITV decided to axe the show to make way for an all-year appeal.
