Cemil Şeboy (born 1953 in Buca, İzmir Turkey) is the former mayor of Buca District of İzmir Province, Turkey. [1]

Buca is a district of İzmir Province of Turkey. It is one of the main districts of İzmir Metropolitan Municipality.

İzmir Province is a province and metropolitan municipality of Turkey in western Anatolia, situated along the Aegean coast. Its capital is the city of İzmir, which is in itself composed of the province's central 10 districts out of 30 in total. Southern Line (İZBAN)

The Southern Line is an electrified commuter rail line running south from Alsancak Terminal in Izmir to Torbalı operated by İZBAN, using trackage owned by the Turkish State Railways. The route services the densely populated areas of western Buca and central Gaziemir as well as Adnan Menderes International Airport via the rebuilt airport station. Between 2010 and 2016 the southern terminus of the line was Cumaovası near Menderes. On 6 February 2016, the line was extended about 30 km (19 mi) south to Tepeköy in Torbalı and on 9 September 2017 extended further south to Selçuk.

Buca railway station

Buca station was a railway station in İzmir, Turkey. Located in the Vali Rahmi Bey neighborhood of Buca, it was one of the oldest railway stations in Turkey. The station was originally opened by the Buca Branch Railway, a subsidiary of the Ottoman Railway Company, in 1872.

Buca Gölet is an artificial lake and a recreation center on the lake in İzmir, Turkey. Buca gölet and the park is in Buca intracity district at about 38°21′N27°14′E and was established in 1999 by the Buca municipality of İzmir. The total area of the center is 167,000 square metres (1,800,000 sq ft). Some of the facilities are an amphitheatre, play ground for children, livestock paddock, sea food and fast food restaurants, coffee houses, picnic areas and observation terraces.

Efeler railway station

Efeler railway station was a railway station in İzmir, Turkey. Located in the Vali Rahmi Bey neighborhood of Buca, it was a stop on the Buca suburban. Efeler station was opened in 1995 by the Turkish State Railways and consisted of a side platform serving one track. The station was closed in 2006 along with the railway branch to Buca.

Buca Branch Railway

The Buca Branch Railway was a short 2.7 km (1.7 mi) long railway that operated in İzmir between 1866 and 1902. The railway was a subsidiary of the Ottoman Railway Company, which formed the railway in 1866 to build a branch line to Buca. Throughout its existence the railway was highly profitable, serving wealthy Levantine business owners who commuted into the city each day.

Üçyol—Çamlıkule Line İzmir Metro line

The Üçyol—Çamlıkule Line is a planned ATO rapid transit line in İzmir, Turkey. The line has a total length of 11.3 km (7.0 mi) and would begin at Üçyol and run southeast into Buca. When completed, the line will become the second driverless metro line in Turkey, after the M5 line in Istanbul. Construction is expected to begin in 2018 and the line is expected to enter service in 2022.

Çamlıkule is a proposed underground station and the eastern terminus of the Üçyol—Çamlıkule Line of the İzmir Metro. It will be located beneath 220/39th Street in Çamlıkule, Buca. Construction of the station, along with the metro line, is expected to begin in 2018.

Şirinyer (İzmir Metro) metro station

Şirinyer is a proposed underground station on the Üçyol—Çamlıkule Line of the İzmir Metro. It will be located beneath Mehmet Akif Avenue, next to the Şirinyer railway station, in western Buca. Construction of the station, along with the metro line, is expected to begin in 2018. Connection to İZBAN commuter rail service will be available from the station. Once complete, Şirinyer will become the fourth station on the İzmir Metro to have direct connection to heavy rail service, along with Basmane, Hilal and Halkapınar.

Buca Belediye is a proposed underground station on the Üçyol—Çamlıkule Line of the İzmir Metro. It will be located beneath Menderes Avenue Buca. Construction of the station, along with the metro line, is expected to begin in 2018. The station will located in front of the Buca Tax Administration and one block west of the Buca Municipality building.

Kasaplar Meydanı is a proposed underground station on the Üçyol—Çamlıkule Line of the İzmir Metro. It will be located beneath Menderes Avenue in Buca. Construction of the station, along with the metro line, is expected to begin in 2018.

Hasanağa Parkı is a proposed underground station on the Üçyol—Çamlıkule Line of the İzmir Metro. It will be located beneath Erdem Avenue in Buca. Construction of the station, along with the metro line, is expected to begin in 2018.

Buca Koop., short for Buca Kooperatif Evleri, is a proposed underground station on the Üçyol—Çamlıkule Line of the İzmir Metro. It will be located beneath 1401 Steet in southeast Buca. Construction of the station, along with the metro line, is expected to begin in 2018. Buca Koop. was the original eastern terminus of the line until August 2016, when the line was extended one station further to Çamlıkule.

Buca-Bornova Tunnel tunnel in İzmir, Turkey

The Buca-Bornova Tunnel is the unofficial name of the 2.5-kilometre-long (1.6 mi) tunnel, currently under construction, in İzmir, Turkey. The tunnel is part of a 7-kilometre-long (4.3 mi) express route that will connect the İzmir Coach Terminal, in Bornova, to central Konak, via the Konak Tunnel. Once completed, the tunnel will become the longest tunnel in the İzmir Province and the 14th longest in Turkey. Work began on 12 March 2018 and the estimated construction cost is ₺184 million.
