Central European Tour Budapest GP was a cycling race in Hungary. It was first run in 2011 and was part of the UCI Europe Tour as a 1.2 level race. It was held the day after Central European Tour Miskolc GP.
Hungary is a country in Central Europe. Spanning 93,030 square kilometres (35,920 sq mi) in the Carpathian Basin, it borders Slovakia to the north, Ukraine to the northeast, Austria to the northwest, Romania to the east, Serbia to the south, Croatia to the southwest, and Slovenia to the west. Central European may mean:
Matej Jurčo is a Slovak professional road bicycle racer. He is the son of Milan Jurčo, who was also a professional cyclist. Matej was the first Slovak participant in Vuelta a España. He is a multi-national champion in individual time-trial as well as a national champion in road race in 2008. At present he is racing in Slovak continental team Dukla Trenčín-Trek. Mostly he trains in the region of Liptov where he is living.
Radoslav Rogina is a Croatian professional road bicycle racer. Rogina represented Croatia at the 2008 Summer Olympics when he finished 25th in the road race event. He represented Croatia again at the 2012 Summer Olympics in London finishing 41st in road race.
Siarhei Papok is a Belarusian road bicycle racer.
Szuper Beton is a UCI Continental cycling team, registered in Hungary. The team participates in UCI Continental Circuits races. The team was founded in 2010 as De Rosa-Stac Plastic after the disappearance of LPR Brakes–Farnese Vini.
Luka Mezgec is a Slovenian road bicycle racer, who currently rides for UCI WorldTeam Mitchelton–Scott. After scoring numerous podium finishes in 2013, Mezgec finally tasted victory on the fifth stage of the Tour of Beijing. He was named in the start list for the 2015 Vuelta a España.
Central European Tour Miskolc GP was a cycling race in Hungary, run between 2010 and 2014. It was held as part of the UCI Europe Tour as a 1.2 level race, the day before the Central European Tour Budapest GP.
Krisztián Lovassy is a Hungarian road bicycle racer. He competed at the 2012 Summer Olympics in the Men's road race, but failed to finish. At the 2017 UEC European Track Championships held in Berlin he earned a silver medal in the men's scratch race.
Péter Kusztor is a Hungarian racing cyclist, who currently rides for UCI Professional Continental team Team Novo Nordisk. He competed at the road race at the 2008 Summer Olympics finishing 65th. Kusztor won the 2010 and 2012 national road cycling championships.
