The Centro de Alto Rendimiento Deportivo Pedro Candioti (known as Card) is a sports complex and IAAF Regional Development Centre in Santa Fe, Argentina.
It was opened in 1982 to host the II South American Games and since then it has hosted the 1983 South American Championships in Athletics; the 1985, 1994 and 2001 South American Junior Championships in Athletics; and the 1989 and 2001 Pan American Junior Athletics Championships, beside numerous seminars, congresses and courses.

Germán Luján Lauro is an Argentine shot putter and discus thrower. He is the South American record holder in the shot put both indoors and outdoors with marks of 21.04 m and 21.26 m, respectively. His personal best in the discus is 63.55 metres.

The 33rd South American Junior Championships in Athletics were held in Santa Fe, Argentina at the Centro de Alto Rendimiento Deportivo Pedro Candioti from October 11–13, 2001. The combined events and walks were held in conjunction with the Pan American Junior Championships that took place at the same site from October 18–20, 2001.
The 36th South American Junior Championships in Athletics were held at the Estadio Municipal Jorge Newbery in Rosario, Argentina from October 1–2, 2005.
The 1st South American Youth Championships in Athletics were held in Comodoro Rivadavia, Argentina from November 2–4, 1973.
The 8th South American Youth Championships in Athletics were held in Comodoro Rivadavia, Argentina, from October 17–19, 1986.
