The Los Angeles County Metropolitan Transportation Authority (LACMTA), branded as Metro, is the county agency that plans, operates, and coordinates funding for most of the public transportation system in Los Angeles County, California, the most populated county in the United States.

North Hollywood station is a combined rapid transit and bus rapid transit (BRT) station in the Los Angeles Metro Rail and Metro Busway systems. It is the northwestern terminus of the B Line subway and eastern terminus of the G Line BRT route. The D Line is a fully underground 5.1-mile (8.2 km) rapid transit line operating in Los Angeles, running between Koreatown and Downtown Los Angeles. It is one of six lines on the Metro Rail system, operated by the Los Angeles County Metropolitan Transportation Authority.
The Regional Connector Transit Project constructed a 1.9-mile (3.1 km) light rail tunnel for the Los Angeles Metro Rail system in Downtown Los Angeles. It connected the A and E lines with the former L Line. The A and E lines previously both terminated at 7th Street/Metro Center station, coming from Long Beach and Santa Monica, respectively, while the L Line ran through Little Tokyo/Arts District to either Azusa or East Los Angeles. Now the A and E lines continue together through new stations at Grand Avenue Arts/Bunker Hill, Historic Broadway, and Little Tokyo/Arts District. From there, they diverge on the former L Line toward Azusa and East Los Angeles, respectively. The project provides a one-seat ride into the core of Downtown for passengers on those lines who previously needed to transfer, thus reducing or altogether eliminating many transfers of passengers traveling across the region via Downtown Los Angeles.

Constellation Place is a 35-story, 492-foot (150 m) skyscraper in Los Angeles, California, located in the community of Century City. It houses the headquarters of Houlihan Lokey, ICM Partners, Knight Law Group, and International Lease Finance Corporation (ILFC). The tower was built to house the corporate headquarters of Metro-Goldwyn-Mayer (MGM), but after its bankruptcy, MGM moved to Beverly Hills, California in 2011.
Measure R was a ballot measure during the November 2008 elections in Los Angeles County, California, that proposed a half-cent sales taxes increase on each dollar of taxable sales for thirty years in order to pay for transportation projects and improvements. The measure was approved by voters with 67.22% of the vote, just over the two-thirds majority required by the state of California to raise local taxes. The project was touted as a way to "improve the environment by getting more Angelenos out of their cars and into the region's growing subway, light rail, and bus services." It will result in the construction or expansion of a dozen rail lines in the county.
The D Line Subway Extension Project is a construction project in Los Angeles County, California, extending the rapid transit D Line of the Los Angeles Metro Rail system from its current terminus at Wilshire/Western in Koreatown, Los Angeles, to the Westside region. The project is being supervised by the Los Angeles County Metropolitan Transportation Authority (Metro). The subway has been given high priority by Metro in its long-range plans, and funding for the project was included in two county sales tax measures, Measure R and Measure M.
Patsaouras Transit Plaza is a bus station on the east side of Union Station in Downtown Los Angeles, near the El Monte Busway. It was originally named the Gateway Transit Plaza but was renamed after Nick Patsaouras, former Rapid Transit District board member who was an advocate for public transportation.
Wilshire/Fairfax station is an under construction, underground rapid transit station on the D Line of the Los Angeles Metro Rail system in LA's Miracle Mile area along Wilshire Boulevard at its intersection with Fairfax Avenue. It is slated to open in 2025. It will be served by the D Line and will be the second station west of Wilshire/Western station.
Wilshire/La Cienega station is an under construction, underground rapid transit station on the D Line of the Los Angeles Metro Rail system in the South East region Beverly Hills, California, at the intersection of Wilshire Boulevard and La Cienega Boulevard. It is in the design/construction phase of the D Line Extension project. The tunneling work from the east was completed in May 2021 and the tunneling work from the west (Wilshire/Rodeo) was completed in January 2023. Originally the project was slated for completion in 2023. The station's opening is now scheduled for 2025.
Wilshire/Rodeo station is an under construction, underground rapid transit station on the D Line of the Los Angeles Metro Rail system. It is currently under construction as part of the D Line Extension project, in Beverly Hills, California. Construction started in 2018 as part of Section 2 of the extension project. It is slated to open in 2026.
The history of the Los Angeles Metro Rail and Busway system begins in the early 1970s, when the traffic-choked region began planning a rapid transit system. The first dedicated busway opened along I-10 in 1973, and the region's first light rail line, the Blue Line opened in 1990. Today the system includes over 160 miles (260 km) of heavy rail, light rail, and bus rapid transit lines, with multiple new lines under construction as of 2019.
Westwood/UCLA station is an under construction, underground rapid transit station on the D Line of the Los Angeles Metro Rail system. The station will be located under Wilshire Boulevard between Veteran Avenue and Westwood Boulevard, with the main station entrance to the west of Gayley Avenue. Other entrances will be located on the north and south sides of Wilshire Boulevard and the west side of Westwood Boulevard.
Westwood/VA Hospital station is an under construction, underground rapid transit station on the D Line of the Los Angeles Metro Rail system. The station will be located underground between Bonsall Avenue and the I-405 freeway, south of Wilshire Boulevard. The main station entrance will be located south of Wilshire Boulevard, next to Bonsall Avenue, directly serving the West Los Angeles VA Medical Center. Another entrance will be located north of Wilshire Boulevard.
