Chad Michael Clark (born October 28, 1973) is a former professional tennis player from the United States.
Clark, who grew up in Longview, played collegiate tennis at the Texas Longhorns, where he was an ITA All-American for both singles and doubles in 1994 and 1995. [1]
Across 1996 and 1997 he competed on the professional tour, as a doubles specialist. His singles appearances were rare but he made the final round of qualifying at the 1996 Wimbledon Championships, losing in five sets to Tom Kempers.
At the 1996 US Open he featured in the main draw of the men's doubles, with Jeff Salzenstein. [2]
On the ATP Tour his best performance was a semi-final appearance partnering Kevin Ullyett at Long Island in 1996. [3]
A runner-up in four Challenger finals, Clark reached his best doubles ranking in 1997, of 165 in the world.

Bud Collins ranked Lutz as world No. 7 in singles in 1972. Bryan Shelton is a former American college tennis coach and former professional tennis player. Shelton played collegiately for Georgia Tech from 1985 to 1988, and then played professionally from 1989 to 1997. He subsequently returned to his alma mater to coach the Georgia Tech Yellow Jackets women's tennis team, which won the NCAA Women's Tennis Championship in 2007. He then served as the head coach of the Florida Gators men's tennis team of the University of Florida, where he coached the Gators to winning the 2021 NCAA Championship. He is the only head coach to have won a national championship in both men and women's NCAA Division I Tennis.

His 23 United States Tennis Association (USTA) Pro Circuit singles titles were the all-time record, as of November 2013. That month he became the American No. 3.

He was the first Atlantic Coast Conference athlete to win ACC athlete of the year solely for tennis accomplishments. In his first full year as a pro, he cracked the top 200 in the 2014 year end rankings at 193, but the costs of travel became prohibitive for him and he retired in 2017.
