Champ is an unincorporated community in Audrain County, in the U.S. state of Missouri. [1]
A post office called Champ was established in 1894, and remained in operation until 1901. [2] The community was named after Champ Clark, a state legislator. [3]

The county was organized December 13, 1836, and named for Colonel James Hunter Audrain of the War of 1812 and who later was elected to the state legislature.
