Charles Kerremans (1847- 10 October 1915, Brussels) was a Belgian entomologist who specialised in Coleoptera, especially Buprestidae and Cicindelidae.
He was a Member of the Société entomologique de France.

Jean Baptiste Lucien Buquet was a French entomologist and insect dealer mainly interested in Coleoptera. He described many new genera and species. Buquet's business dealt in exotic Coleoptera, especially Buprestidae, Lucanidae, Scarabaeidae and Cerambycidae. He also sold Lepidoptera, especially Morpho and Agrias. The insects came mainly from the French colonial empires. He was a member of the Société entomologique de France.
Chrysochroa is a genus of "jewel" or metallic wood-boring beetles, typical of the tribe Chrysochroini. Most of the many species are native to Southeast Asian nations such as Malaysia, Indonesia, and the Philippines. However, a good number are found in India, one in Japan, in Korea, and one in Africa.
Henri Boileau was a French entomologist who specialised in Coleoptera. Boileau worked on world fauna, notably Lucanidae. His collection is conserved by the Muséum national d'histoire naturelle. Boileau was a member of the Société entomologique de France.

Nemoraea is a genus of flies in the family Tachinidae.
Aaaaba is a genus of beetles from the Buprestidae family. It inhabits locations along the east coast of Australia. It was described in 1864 by Achille Deyrolle as "Alcinous", a junior homonym of a genus of pycnogonids. In 2002, Charles Bellamy gave it the replacement name "Aaaba", but this proved to be another junior homonym, of a genus of sponges. In 2013, it was given a further replacement name, becoming Aaaaba.

Charles Théophile Bruand d'Uzelle was a French entomologist who specialised in microlepidoptera. He described several new species and erected the families Elachistidae, Oecophoridae and Roeslerstammiidae and the geometrid tribes Ourapterygini and Hemitheini. He was a member of the Société entomologique de France. His macrolepidoptera and Psychidae collections are held by the Natural History Museum, London and the microlepidoptera by the Musee d'Histoire Naturelle, Paris.
André Théry (1864–1947) was a French entomologist who specialised in Coleoptera especially Buprestidae. He founded in Algiers la Société d'Histoire naturelle de l'Afrique du Nord ( 1909) and in Morocco la Société des Sciences Naturelles (1920).
Robert François du Buysson, was a French naturalist.
Temognatha aestimata is a jewel beetle in the family Buprestidae, found in Victoria. It was first described in 1898 by Charles Kerremans as Stigmodera aestimata.
