Chris Casamassa (born January 17, 1965) is an American martial artist, actor and stuntman who is best known for his role as Scorpion in the movie Mortal Kombat and the related TV show, Mortal Kombat: Conquest . He is the son of martial arts guru and Red Dragon Karate founder Louis D. Casamassa. (Chris co-starred on the TV series WMAC Masters under the call-sign "Red Dragon".)
Casamassa is also the President of the successful Red Dragon Karate Schools, which were founded by his father. As a national competitor on the North American Sport Karate Association circuit (N.A.S.K.A) Casamassa was the #1 forms competitor in the country for four consecutive years.
Chris started his martial arts training in 1969 at the age of 4. He made his first degree Black belt at the age of 10. His professional tournament career started in 1982 and when he retired from professional competition in 1992 he had amassed a string of titles: He was a 4 time national open forms champion, along with 2 national weapons titles, and a top 5 rated middleweight fighter. He then began a career in film and television, his most recognizable role being Scorpion in Mortal Kombat . His accomplishments in martial arts training continued during this time; he was awarded his 8th degree Black Belt in Red Dragon Karate in 2004.

Mortal Kombat Annihilation is a 1997 American martial arts fantasy film directed by John R. Leonetti in his directorial debut. Based on the Mortal Kombat video game franchise, it is the second installment in the Mortal Kombat film series and a sequel to the original 1995 film, on which Leonetti served as cinematographer. Largely adapted from the 1995 video game Mortal Kombat 3, Annihilation follows Liu Kang and his allies as they attempt to prevent the malevolent Shao Kahn from conquering Earthrealm. It stars Robin Shou as Liu, Talisa Soto as Kitana, James Remar as Rayden, Sandra Hess as Sonya Blade, Lynn Red Williams as Jax and Brian Thompson as Kahn. Only Shou and Soto reprise their roles, with the other characters recast from the previous film.

Benny Urquidez is an American former professional kickboxer, martial arts choreographer and actor. Nicknamed "The Jet", Urquidez was a non-contact karate competitor who later pioneered full-contact fighting in the United States. He made the transition from point to full-contact karate in 1974, the year of its inception in the US, frequently fighting in bouts where the rules were ambiguous and contrasts in styles were dramatic. Animation with animation by South Korean studio Digital eMation. Snow Blind was released on October 11, 2022, and is the third installment in the Mortal Kombat Legends series. The film borrows elements from the plot of Mortal Kombat: Deadly Alliance, Mortal Kombat: Deception and Mortal Kombat 11, and is a direct sequel to Mortal Kombat Legends: Battle of the Realms (2021).
