Everett Ben "Chris" Krug (born December 25,1939) is a former Major League Baseball catcher. Krug was signed by the St. Louis Cardinals as an amateur free agent in 1958.
Krug played in parts of three major league seasons,two (1965 and 1966) with the Chicago Cubs (who drafted him out of the Cardinals' system in the 1964 minor league draft) and one (1969) with the expansion San Diego Padres.
Michael Scott Matheny is an American former professional baseball player and former manager of the St. Louis Cardinals and Kansas City Royals of Major League Baseball (MLB). He played in MLB for 13 seasons as a catcher for the Milwaukee Brewers,Toronto Blue Jays,St. Louis Cardinals,and San Francisco Giants. Matheny later spent seven seasons as the manager of the Cardinals. One of the most accomplished defensive players of his era,he won four Rawlings Gold Glove Awards. As manager,Matheny's teams won one National League (NL) pennant and three NL Central division titles.
Matthew Christian Morris is an American former professional baseball player. He played in Major League Baseball as a right-handed pitcher from 1997 through 2008,most notably as a member of the St. Louis Cardinals,where he was a two-time All-Star and led the National League in 2001 with 22 wins. After playing nine seasons with the Cardinals,he played his last four seasons with the San Francisco Giants and the Pittsburgh Pirates.
