Chris Martinez is an American retired soccer defender who played professionally in the American Professional Soccer League, National Professional Soccer League and Major League Soccer.
Martinez graduated from Ponderosa High School in Parker, Colorado. He attended Clemson University, where he played on the men's soccer team from 1989 to 1992. In June 1993, he signed with the Colorado Foxes of the American Professional Soccer League and was part of the Foxes championship team. [2] [3] He would play every season until called up to the Colorado Rapids in 1997. In October 1994, he signed with the Wichita Wings of the National Professional Soccer League. [4] Martinez played two winter indoor seasons with the Wings. In June 1997, the Rapids called Martinez up from the Foxes. He remained with the Rapids through the 2001 season.
On 13 January 2022, Martinez joined Houston Dynamo as an assistant coach. [5] After just 29 matches, he was fired on September 5.
Dominic Kinnear is an American soccer coach and former player. On January 18, 2022, he was named an assistant coach by FC Cincinnati, his first coaching role since serving as the interim head coach of the LA Galaxy.
Pablo Mastroeni is an American soccer coach and former player who is the head coach of Major League Soccer club Real Salt Lake. He was formerly head coach of the Colorado Rapids, and assistant coach of the Houston Dynamo. In his playing career, he played as a defensive midfielder. Born in Argentina, he played for the United States men's national team.
Zach Thornton is an American soccer player who is goalkeeping coach for Chicago Fire FC. A goalkeeper, he spent 16 seasons in Major League Soccer with the New York/New Jersey MetroStars (1996–97), Chicago Fire (1998–2006), Colorado Rapids (2007), New York Red Bulls (2008) and Chivas USA (2008–11). He was the starting goalkeeper for the Fire when it won MLS Cup '98 in its inaugural year. He, Chris Armas, and C. J. Brown are the only three Fire players to be a part of all six of the club's domestic championships from 1998 through 2006.
Brian Mullan is an American former professional soccer player. He played for the Los Angeles Galaxy, San Jose Earthquakes, Houston Dynamo, and Colorado Rapids in Major League Soccer. He won five MLS Cups, two Supporters' Shields, and one U.S. Open Cup during his career. He is one of only four players to have won MLS Cup five or more times. He also won four caps for the United States between 2004 and 2007. Not a flashy player, Mullan was known for his work rate, hustle, and determination on the field.
