Chris Smith (born 29 September 1955) is a former Australian rules footballer who played for the Fitzroy Football Club in the Victorian Football League (VFL) between 1973 and 1982.

Primarily playing as a centre half-back, Smith was notable for playing for most of his career in a helmet, after suffering migraines after being knocked out three times in his first three years. [1]

James Michael Smith was an English footballer and manager. As a player, he made 249 appearances in the Fourth Division of The Football League, representing Aldershot, Halifax Town, Lincoln City and Colchester United, and played for three-and-a-half years for Boston United of the Northern Premier League. He began a long managerial career with Boston United, and went on to take charge of top division clubs such as Birmingham City and Newcastle United. Smith served as a member of the board of directors of Oxford United for three years from 2006–09. He served as the League Managers' Association's chief executive and was inducted into their Hall of Fame for managing over 1000 matches. He was nicknamed "The Bald Eagle".

Urban Frank Meyer III is an American football coach who is the head coach of the Jacksonville Jaguars of the National Football League (NFL). Meyer previously served as the head coach of the Bowling Green Falcons from 2001 to 2002, the Utah Utes from 2003 to 2004, the Florida Gators from 2005 to 2010, and the Ohio State Buckeyes from 2012 to 2018. He retired from coaching in 2019 at the end of the Rose Bowl, and stayed at Ohio State as an assistant athletic director and was also an analyst for Fox Sports, appearing weekly on their Big Noon Kickoff pre-game show. In 2021, Meyer came out of retirement to become the head coach of the Jaguars, marking his first job in the NFL.

DeVonta Smith is an American football wide receiver for the Philadelphia Eagles of the National Football League (NFL). As a senior at Alabama in 2020, he recorded over 1,800 yards with 23 touchdowns, for which he won the Heisman Trophy alongside several other awards and honors. He was the first wide receiver to win the Heisman since Desmond Howard in 1991 and only the fourth overall. He also won two College Football National Championships while at Alabama. The Philadelphia Eagles traded up in the first round of the 2021 NFL Draft to draft Smith.
