The current Christ Church Parish Church located in Church Hill, Christ Church, Barbados was built in 1935 and is the fifth parish church on the site. At various times the previous structures have all been destroyed by natural disasters including flood, fire or hurricanes.
The original Parish church structure was built in 1629 and was located near Dover Beach. In 1669 the church was destroyed by a flood, which scattered coffins and bones from the church cemetery across the beach.
The next church constructed was destroyed in the hurricane of 1780. Another Parish Church was built in 1786 and was again destroyed by the 1831 hurricane. The new church was then destroyed by fire in 1935.
The church is known for its churchyard which contains the notorious Chase Vault, in which coffins have been said to mysteriously move around within the sealed vault. A detailed investigation by the Governor of Barbados and members of his staff was made in 1820 but it offered no explanation and the coffins were eventually each buried separately after further recurrences. Today visitors are able to visit the vault at the church site.

Christ Church Greyfriars, also known as Christ Church Newgate Street, was a church in Newgate Street, opposite St Paul's Cathedral in the City of London. Established as a monastic church in the thirteenth century, it became a parish church after the Dissolution of the Monasteries. Following its destruction in the Great Fire of London of 1666, it was rebuilt to the designs of Sir Christopher Wren. Except for the tower, the church was largely destroyed by bombing during the Second World War. The decision was made not to rebuild the church; the ruins are now a public garden.

Øye Stave Church is a parish church of the Church of Norway in Vang Municipality in Innlandet county, Norway. It is located in the village of Øye. The brown, wooden stave church was built in a long church design in 1965 using plans drawn up by the architect Ole Øvergaard using pieces salvaged from the old 12th century church that had originally been torn down in 1747. The Girod Street Cemetery was a large above-ground cemetery that resided in central New Orleans, Louisiana, established in 1822 for Protestant residents of the Faubourg St. Mary and was closed down in the 1940s. The cemetery then remained unused until it was officially torn down on January 4, 1957.
The Chase Vault is a burial vault in the cemetery of the Christ Church Parish Church in Oistins, Christ Church, Barbados, best known for a widespread urban legend of "mysterious moving coffins". According to the story, each time the heavily sealed marble vault had been opened for the burial of a family member including 1808, twice in 1812 and in 1816 and 1819, all of the lead coffins had changed position. The facts of the story are unverified, investigations concluding there may not be actual events at the base of the legend.
The Trinity Cathedral, sometimes called the Troitsky Cathedral, in Saint Petersburg, Russia, is a formerly Russian Imperial Army Izmaylovskiy regiment Russian Orthodox church, an architectural landmark - a late example of the Empire style, built between 1828 and 1835 to a design by Vasily Stasov. It is located due south of the Admiralty on Izmaylovskiy Prospekt, not far from the Tekhnologichesky Institut Metro station.
The Sheraton Mall is a shopping and entertainment complex located close to the fringe of both Sargeants' Village and Vauxhall in the Parish of Christ Church, Barbados. The mall boasts having roughly 120 stores and services along with the only multiplex cinema on the island. The major anchor stores for the mall are Courts, DaCosta Mannings, and the Olympus Theatres cinema multiplex.
Willington Quay is an area in the borough of North Tyneside in Tyne and Wear in northern England. It is situated on the north bank of the River Tyne, facing Jarrow, and between Wallsend and North Shields. It is served by the Howdon Metro station in Howdon. The area from 2006 onwards has been an area of new housing built on brownfield sites. The house building continues into 2013 and is changing the social and economic balance in the area. The area has also had a make over of the bowling green off Howdon Lane and further warehousing next to the bowling green has been demolished to make way for further new housing. The changes made recently at Willington Quay are now making it an attractive place to live within North Tyneside.
St. Frances Cabrini Church was a Roman Catholic church in New Orleans, Louisiana; the heart of the parish of the same name in the Archdiocese of New Orleans. The parish was an area bounded by Lake Pontchartrain, mid-city, and two major canals.
All Saints' Anglican Church is a historic Church located at Pleasant Hall, Saint Peter, Barbados. The original church dates back to 1649 when a chapel was established to 'ease' the then colonial settlers from having to venture to the St. James Parish Church and the St. Peter's Parish Church. This original church was destroyed by the Great Hurricane of 1831. A second church was built in 1839, but was pulled down as unsafe forty years later after structural faults were discovered. The church is known for having detailed stained glass, the main show piece being the eastern detail, a donation from Thomas Briggs in memory of his parents Sir and Lady Graham Briggs, owners of the Grenade Hall Plantation which at the time included the Farley Hill Great House. Buried within the 16th Century church yard is the first English settler to set foot on Barbadian soil, William Arnold. The present church was built and consecrated in 1884. The present Rector is Father Selven Lowe.

Recorded since the 13th century, the church was destroyed in the Great Fire of London of 1666, then rebuilt to the designs of Sir Christopher Wren. The Wren church was demolished between 1841 and 1846.
All Hallows, Honey Lane was a parish church in the City of London, England. Of medieval origin, it was destroyed in the Great Fire of London in 1666 and not rebuilt; the site became part of Honey Lane Market, which was in turn partially cleared to make way for the City of London School in the 19th century. Much of the area was destroyed during the bombing in World War II and has been redeveloped. The name Honey Lane is retained in a nearby walkway.
