Caodaism is a monotheistic syncretic religion that retains many elements from Vietnamese folk religion such as ancestor worship, as well as "ethical precepts from Confucianism, occult practices from Taoism, theories of karma and rebirth from Buddhism, and a hierarchical organization from Roman Catholicism". It was officially established in the city of Tây Ninh in southern Vietnam in 1926.

The Citizens Foundation (TCF) is a non-profit organization, and one of the largest privately owned networks of low-cost formal schools in Pakistan. The foundation operates a network of 1,833 school units, educating 280,000 students through over 13,000 teachers and principals, and over 17,400 employees. Approximately 94% of the foundation's expenditure is allocated to the Education program. In addition, TCF also conducts a literacy and numeracy skill development programme in communities linked to its schools which has taught reading and writing to over 160,000 adults.
Lò Gò-Xa Mát National Park is a national park in the Southeast region of Vietnam, approximately 30 kilometres (19 mi) from the city of Tây Ninh. It was established by upgrading the status of the former Lò Gò-Xa Mát Nature Reserve. After receiving national park status in 2002, the park was expanded in 2020 to cover an area of 30,022 hectares (115.92 sq mi).

Hoàng Văn Thái, born Hoàng Văn Xiêm, was a Vietnamese Army General and a communist political figure. His hometown was Tây An, Tiền Hải District, Thái Bình Province. During the Tết Offensive, he was the highest senior North Vietnamese officer in South Vietnam. He was the first chief of staff of the Vietnam People's Army, and was responsible for key military forces in North Vietnam. He was also Chief of Staff in the Battle of Điện Biên Phủ.

Visitors to Vietnam must obtain a visa from one of the Vietnamese diplomatic missions unless they come from one of the visa exempt countries or countries eligible for electronic visas. However, owing to the COVID-19 pandemic in Vietnam, the issuance of visas was temporarily suspended. On March 15, 2022, Vietnam reopened its borders and resumed its pre-pandemic entry and exit policies though 90 day visas have remained unavailable. Vietnam’s lawmakers on June 24 in the National Assembly passed an approval to increase the validity of electronic visas for inbound visitors on recommendation of the government. Effective August 1, the validity of the approved e-visa will be 90 days from the current duration of 30 days.
