The film premiered at the 4th Delhi International Film Festival in December 2015. The film was released on DVD on 30 January 2018. The film is set for an August 2018 release date in India. The film was scheduled to release on 7 September 2018, but was pushed to 28 June 2019, ultimately to not see a theatrical release. It was directly released on Netflix on 1 November 2019. It marked the last film of Rajput before his death on 14 June 2020.
Cirkus is an upcoming Indian Hindi-language comedy film directed by Rohit Shetty and produced by Rohit Shetty Picturez, T-Series and Reliance Entertainment. The film stars Ranveer Singh in a dual role alongside Jacqueline Fernandez, Pooja Hegde and Varun Sharma. It is officially adapted from Angoor (1982) which was based on Shakespeare's play The Comedy of Errors. It also features Deepika Padukone and Ajay Devgn in special appearances.
