It is the second-largest Canadian airline, behind Air Canada, operating an average of 777 flights and carrying more than 66,130 passengers per day. In 2018, WestJet carried 25.49 million passengers, making it the ninth-largest airline in North America by passengers carried.

CityJet is an Irish regional airline with headquarters in Swords, Dublin. It was founded in 1992 and has gone through a series of corporate structures. Air France sold CityJet to Intro Aviation in May 2014; in March 2016 the airline was bought by founder Pat Byrne and other investors. Since 2017, CityJet had moved away from scheduled flights and has instead focused on wet leasing and charter flights. As of August 2020, the airline operates wet-lease services on behalf of Scandinavian Airlines.

VLM Airlines was a Belgian airline offering scheduled, charter and ACMI services. It was headquartered at Antwerp International Airport in Deurne. It ceased operations on 31 August 2018. It is not to be confused with its Belgian sister airline VLM Airlines Brussels, which operated leisure charters and ceased operations in December 2018. A new airline known as Air Antwerp which is owned by CityJet (75%) and KLM (25%) launched operations on 9 September 2019 and consists of ex-employees and fleet of VLM Airlines.
Netherlands Aircraft Company is a Dutch company dedicated to restarting the production of upgraded versions of the Fokker 70 and Fokker 100 regional jets as production of those stopped when Fokker was declared bankrupt in 1996. The initial plan was to start building unmodified versions of both the Fokker 70 and the Fokker 100. For this all tooling for these airplanes was bought from Fokker during the bankruptcy period. Later on the decision was made to make several improvements to the airframe. This resulted in the Fokker 120NG which was further stretched to the Fokker 130NG due to altered market demands. The Fokker 130NG will be able to carry 130 to 138 passengers. It will get a new interior, improved avionics, a fly-by-wire system, sharklets and two Pratt & Whitney PurePower PW1217G-egines.

Pasifika Air was a proposed New Zealand-based airline planning to operate scheduled direct passenger flights between Christchurch, New Zealand and Rarotonga, Cook Islands. Originally called "JetRaro", the airline was rebranded as Pasifika Air in December 2020.
