Clarissa House (born 6 September 1963 in Melbourne) is an Australian actress who played Beth Hunter, from 2003 until 2007 in the soap opera Home and Away .
She was born in Melbourne and raised in Perth, Western Australia. She graduated from Australia's National Institute of Dramatic Art with a degree in performing arts (acting) in 1987. She also holds a Bachelor of Arts in journalism and a Theatre Arts degree from Perth's Curtin University (formerly the Western Australian Institute of Technology)
Before taking the role as Beth Hunter on Home And Away, Clarissa previously played a small part as a council worker named Ms Angelo. She was a friend of Shelley Sutherland, whose husband married her character Beth Hunter later on in the show. Clarissa has joined All Saints, playing Julia Mayfair, Frank's carer.
