Nicolas Collins is a composer of mostly electronic music, a sound artist and writer. He received his BA and MA from Wesleyan University, and his PhD from the University of East Anglia. Upon graduating from Wesleyan, he was a Watson Fellow.
MoMA PS1 is one of the largest art institutions in the United States dedicated solely to contemporary art. It is located in the Long Island City neighborhood in the borough of Queens, New York City. In addition to its exhibitions, the institution organizes the Sunday Sessions performance series, the Warm Up summer music series, and the Young Architects Program with the Museum of Modern Art. Alanna Heiss is the Founder and Director of Clocktower Productions, a non profit arts organization, online radio station, and program partnership with six cultural institutions in three boroughs in New York. She founded The Institute for Art and Urban Resources, Inc. in 1971, an organization focused on using abandoned and underutilized New York City buildings for art exhibitions and artists' studios, of which P.S.1 was a part. She served as the Director of P.S.1 and its later incarnation, the P.S.1 Contemporary Art Center from its founding in 1976 until her retirement in 2008. She is recognized as one of the originators of the alternative space movement. Heiss has curated and/or organized over 700 exhibitions at P.S.1 and elsewhere. SSION aka Cody Critcheloe is a multifaceted audiovisual artist embodying music, video directing, painting, and live performance. SSION has released several records to date and has collaborated with a range of artists such as Róisín Murphy, Sky Ferreira, Ariel Pink, and Hood By Air, among others. He has directed music videos for musicians like Robyn, Perfume Genius, Yves Tumor, Santigold, and King Princess, and has exhibited artwork and paintings internationally. SSION is pronounced shun and is used as a moniker for Critcheloe's multimedia practice. He lives and works in Los Angeles, California.
Weekend is an American lo-fi or shoegaze trio from San Francisco, California. The band formed in 2009 and released two EPs, with the full-length debut album Sports coming on Slumberland Records in 2010. The album received an 8.2 rating from Pitchfork Media. It also received 4/5 stars on Tinymixtapes and was also reviewed by National Public Radio, the Portland Mercury, Boston Phoenix, NME, Drowned in Sound, Brooklyn Vegan, The Onion's AV Club, and PopMatters.
Nicolás Jaar is a Chilean-American composer and recording artist based in New York. Among his notable works are the albums Space Is Only Noise (2011), Pomegranates (2015) and Sirens (2016). Since 2011, he has embarked on multiple explorative directions, performing a five-hour improvisational concert at MoMA PS1 and releasing a large volume of experimental recordings through his label, Other People, including works by Lydia Lunch, Pierre Bastien, John Wall and Lucretia Dalt. He scored Jacques Audiard's Dheepan and Pablo Larrain's 2019 film, Ema. Jaar is half of the band Darkside and has released two albums under the alias Against All Logic.
Clown & Sunset is an independent record label founded by Nicolas Jaar in 2009. It is part of Clown & Sunset Aesthetics, an interdisciplinary production house founded by Jaar and film producer Noah Kraft. This label was terminated in August 2013 in favor of Jaar's label Other People.

Despite a promising start, their flagship product suffered from various issues and sold many fewer units than expected upon release. After an unsuccessful attempt to raise additional capital, Doppler Labs ceased operations in December 2017.
2012–2017 is the third studio album by American electronic music artist Nicolas Jaar, under the moniker A.A.L., later referred to only as Against All Logic. BOFFO is a nonprofit arts community and organization in Fire Island Pines, New York that invites artists across a breadth of disciplines to share and perform work during the summer months. The multidisciplinary organization has aspects of both an artist residency program, with workshops and artist lectures, and a performance festival. At the end of each summer, the program hosts the Boffo Fire Island Performance Festival, which showcases experimental dance, performance, and music. Previous BOFFO residents include Jeremy O'Harris, Robert Yang, Puppies Puppies, Malik Gaines and Alexandro Segade, Precious Okoyomon, and House of Ladosha.
