COcOnuts is the second album released by Jane, comprising Animal Collective member Panda Bear, and Scott Mou. It was originally self-released on CD-R's, but later became the first album released by Psych-o-path Records in 2005. The Psych-o-path version was remastered by Rusty Santos and Edik Kleyner.

Jane was an electronic duo consisting of Panda Bear of Animal Collective and Scott Mou. The two worked together at Other Music and recorded and practiced at Mou's house.

Animal Collective American musical group

Animal Collective is an American experimental pop band formed in Baltimore, Maryland in 2003. Its members and founders are Avey Tare, Panda Bear, Deakin, and Geologist. The band's music is characterized by studio experimentation, vocal harmonies, and an exploration of various genres which include freak folk, noise rock, ambient drone, and psychedelia. Records released under the name "Animal Collective" may include contributions from any or all of its members. In the case of Dibb, who often takes breaks from recording and performing with the band, his time off does not constitute full leave.

Panda Bear (musician) American musician

Noah Benjamin Lennox, also known by his moniker Panda Bear, is an American musician, singer-songwriter and co-founding member of the experimental pop band Animal Collective. In addition to his work with that group, Lennox has released six solo LPs since 1999. His third, Person Pitch (2007), is noted for influencing a wide range of subsequent indie music in addition to inspiring the chillwave genre and numerous soundalike acts.

Nick Steven Oliveri is an American multi-instrumentalist, singer and songwriter from Los Angeles, California. Oliveri is perhaps best known as a former member of Kyuss and later Queens of the Stone Age from 1998 to 2004. Avey Tare American musician

David Michael Portner, also known by his moniker Avey Tare, is a musician and songwriter who co-founded the American experimental pop band Animal Collective. He has released two solo albums, as well as three collaborative albums with Panda Bear, all of which were later retroactively classified under Animal Collective's discography.

Psych is an American detective comedy-drama television series created by Steve Franks and broadcast on USA Network with syndicated reruns on ION Television. The series stars James Roday as Shawn Spencer, a young crime consultant for the Santa Barbara Police Department whose "heightened observational skills" and impressive eidetic memory allow him to convince people that he solves cases with psychic abilities. The Black Angels (band) band

The Black Angels are an American psychedelic rock band from Austin, Texas. They have released five studio albums and one compilation album. Their name is derived from the Velvet Underground song "The Black Angel's Death Song".

Acrimony was a British heavy metal band who were active during the 1990s. Releasing their debut album in 1994, they are regarded as the pioneers of stoner metal in the United Kingdom, and an important influence upon the scene. Although the band never achieved mainstream success, during their career they received much critical acclaim – they were nominated for the Kerrang! Best Newcomer award and earned top review ratings. Acrimony have maintained a cult following in the British metal scene, their records reportedly selling for vast sums as collectors items. AlMusic described their musical style as "typical mid-'90s stoner rock" that "combined Black Sabbath's heavy metal riffery, Hawkwind's space rock excursions, and Blue Cheer's fuzzed-out psychedelic feedback with extreme doses of volume .... particularly reminiscent of desert metal gods Kyuss."

Terrestrial Tones are Dave Portner of Animal Collective and Eric Copeland of Black Dice. The two were roommates who got together to record when both of their respective main bands went on temporary hiatus in November 2004.

Lewayne Williams, is a rapper from South Park, Houston, Texas and a member of the South Park Coalition, which he cofounded in 1987 with Houston rapper K-Rino. In 1992 he released his debut album South Park Psycho. This record also help put the South Park Coalition name on the map due to world wide distribution from Rap-a-Lot. He also wrote the Geto Boys hit "Chuckie". NIP stands for "Nation of Islam is Powerful" he is also a part of The Nation of Islam. Williams is also looked at as one of the creators of the horrorcore rap genre.

<i>Seepage</i> (EP) 2010 EP by Tech N9ne

Seepage is the second EP by rapper Tech N9ne, and was released on October 25, 2010. The EP consists of five tracks that were written recently after Tech witnessed Krizz Kaliko's breakdown after receiving bad news, and soon after, receiving news that his mother was back in the psych ward. The beats that appear on the EP were purchased by the artist intended for his studio album K.O.D. but went unused during the sessions. The EP, just like K.O.D. and the Lost Scripts, is broken up into 3 sections: "Anger", "Madness" and "The Hole". When the instrumentals used in Seepage were slated for the K.O.D album, Tech N9ne intended for the track titled 'Alucard' to feature Immortal Technique on a track called 'Every Man For Himself.' Necro revealed on Twitter that Tech reached out to him for the track 'Asshole' but wasn't able to send out his verse on time. The EP sold 7,361 copies first week, of which 68% were digital. Seepage debuted at number 57 on the Billboard 200 and number 5 on the Independent Albums charts in the US. The songs' title track featuring Tonesha Sanders peaked at #49 on the R&B/Hip-Hop Digital Songs chart and #35 on the Rao Digital Songs chart.

<i>Hung at Heart</i> album by The Growlers

Hung at Heart is the third studio album by the Southern California surf rock band The Growlers, released on 22 January 2013 by Everloving Records. The album garnered generally positive reviews from critics, with Alejandro Rubio of Filter describing it as "a sketchy Tijuana pharmacy that’s got a little “something” for everybody." The album was originally going to be produced by The Black Keys lead singer and guitarist Dan Auerbach, but due to the band's dissatisfaction with the final product, it was self-produced.
