The Congress of Polonia in Germany (Polish: Kongres Polonii Niemieckiej, German: Polnischer Kongress in Deutschland e.V.) is a national umbrella organisation, representing Poles in Germany.

Kociewie is an ethnocultural region in the eastern part of Tuchola Forest, in northern Poland, Pomerania, south of Gdańsk. Its cultural capital is Starogard Gdański, the biggest town is Tczew, while other major towns include Świecie, Pelplin, and Skórcz. The region has about 250,000 inhabitants. It has well-developed industry and agriculture.

The Order of Polonia Restituta is a Polish state order established 4 February 1921. It is conferred on both military and civilians as well as on foreigners for outstanding achievements in the fields of education, science, sport, culture, art, economics, national defense, social work, civil service, or for furthering good relations between countries. It is Poland's second-highest civilian state award in the order of precedence, behind the Order of the White Eagle.

Polonia Bytom is a Polish football club based in Bytom. Founded in 1920, the team won two championships, in 1954 and 1962. As of the 2023–24 season, they currently compete in the II liga.
Władysław Szczepaniak was a Polish football player. A defender for his entire career, he played for Polonia Warsaw, where he was the captain. Szczepaniak was one of Polonia's symbols, also he played for the Poland national football team.

Polonia Bydgoszcz is a Polish sports club based in Bydgoszcz most known for its speedway team ŻKS Polonia Bydgoszcz which currently races in the 1. Liga. The club has won the Polish Speedway League Championship seven times, the latest in 2002, and European Team Championship three times, the latest in 2001. The club also has a football team that plays in the lower leagues, though it was more successful in the past and played in the Polish top division, plus several other departments: athletics, cycling and boccia.

He twice was the topscorer of the Ekstraklasa, in 1959 with 21 goals, and in 1962 with 16 goals. Also, in 1962, he won championship of Poland. All together, Liberda played in 304 of Polonia's games, scoring 146 goals.
