Crash is a 1974 Norwegian drama film written and directed by Rolf Clemens, starring Jan Solberg and Hanne Krogh. A motorcycle accident leaves the young Jan (Solberg) paralysed. This new situation challenges his attitude towards life, and his relationship both with his parents and with his girlfriend Marianne (Krogh).

The 2009 Vodafone Rally de Portugal was the 43rd running of the Rally Portugal and the fourth round of the 2009 World Rally Championship season. It took place between 2-5 April 2009 and consisted of 18 special stages.

Viking won the Norwegian Cup after beating Haugar 2–1 on 21 October 1979. The goal scorers for Viking were Bjarne Berntsen who scored a penalty in the 55th minute and Jens Egil Vikanes who scored in the 62nd minute. For Haugar, Dean Mooney scored in the 25th minute. This was the first time two teams from Rogaland met in a national final. Viking's official report stated that Haugar were the best team for large parts of the match. However, once Svein Kvia send a probing ball to give Jens Vikanes a goal, the game was secured for Viking.

Norway was represented by 15-year-old Hanne Krogh, with the song "Lykken er", at the 1971 Eurovision Song Contest, which took place on 3 April in Dublin. "Lykken er" was chosen as the Norwegian entry at the Melodi Grand Prix on 20 February.

Parliamentary elections were held in Norway on 13 September 2021. All 169 seats in the Norwegian legislature, the Storting, were up for election. The election was won by a coalition consisting of the social-democratic Labour Party and the agrarian Centre Party that entered into negotiations to form a government. The election also resulted in a majority for the parties that seek to dissolve the unpopular and controversial Viken county.
