My Dear Kuttichathan is a 1984 Indian Malayalam-language fantasy film directed by Jijo Punnoose and produced by his father Navodaya Appachan under Navodaya Studio. It was the first Indian film to be filmed in 3D format. With screenplay by Raghunath Paleri, the story revolves around a mystical indigenous Genie called "Kuttichathan" who is under the spell of an evil sorcerer, however it gets released by three children and then befriends them. The film's soundtrack was composed by Ilaiyaraaja, while cinematography and editing was done by Ashok Kumar and T. R. Shekhar, respectively. It was the debut of actors Jagadish and Zainuddin.

Renji Panicker is an Indian actor, scriptwriter, director, film producer, and journalist best known for his Malayalam films. He made his debut as a director with Bharatchandran IPS in 2005.

<i>Niram</i> 1999 Indian film

Niram (transl. Colour) is a 1999 Indian Malayalam-language romantic comedy film directed by Kamal and written inspired by Sathrughnan, a story by Iqbal Kuttippuram. Niram marks the fourth and final collaboration of the leading pair, Kunchacko & Shalini of the late 90s. It was also Shalini's last Malayalam film, before retiring in the industry. The film revolves around the relationship of two teenagers - Aby and Sona (Shalini), who are best friends since childhood and they often hangout together. The film's music was composed by Vidyasagar. Niram was a blockbuster at the box office, becoming one of the highest-grossing Malayalam films of the year, grossing over 5 crore. The film was remade in Telugu as Nuvve Kavali (2000), in Tamil as Piriyadha Varam Vendum (2001) with Shalini reprising her role same from the original likewise, in Kannada as Ninagagi (2002), and in Hindi as Tujhe Meri Kasam (2003).

He went on to produce different genre films in Mollywood. Later, he started acting in Malayalam films and serials, and is now the general secretary of ATMA.

Mohabbathin Kunjabdulla is a 2019 Malayalam film directed by Shanu Samath and produced by Benazir Abdul Nazeer. The lead role of the movie was supposed to do by K T C Abdulla. Due to his sudden demise, Indrans was given the lead role.
