Crown Point is a town in southwestern Tobago, Trinidad and Tobago. It contains the A.N.R. Robinson International Airport which was formerly known as the Crown Point International Airport. It is near Store Bay, Buccoo Reef, and Pigeon Point. Crusoe Cave is located nearby.
The name component "Crown" does not derive from the English word "crown", but from the Englisch word "couronian", referring to the Duchy of Courland and Semigallia that ruled over Tobago in the late 17th century. [1]
Crown Point Lighthouse is an active lighthouse located in Scarborough, on the south west extremity of Tobago in the nearby the airport. The lighthouse consist of a square metal tower with gallery and lantern 26 metres (85 ft) high and has a focal height of 35 metres (115 ft). It is powered by solar unit and emits an alternating group of four white flashing repeated every 20 seconds visible up to 16 nautical miles (30 km; 18 mi).
Trinidad and Tobago is an archipelagic republic in the southern Caribbean between the Caribbean Sea and the North Atlantic Ocean, northeast of Venezuela. The island is cigar-shaped in appearance, with a northeast–southwest alignment.

Arthur Napoleon Raymond Robinson, was a Trinidadian politician who was the third president of the country, serving from 19 March 1997 to 17 March 2003. He was also Trinidad and Tobago's third prime minister, serving in that capacity from 18 December 1986 to 17 December 1991. He is recognized for his proposal that eventually led to the founding of the International Criminal Court.
Scarborough is a major town of the Island of Tobago as well as the eleventh-most-populous in Trinidad and Tobago. Scarborough was the capital of Tobago in 1769 before it was unified with Trinidad changing the capital to Port of Spain. Situated in western Tobago, Scarborough is the economic and cultural centre of the island of Tobago. The estimated population in 2011 was 17,537. Scarborough is ranked as one of Trinidad and Tobago's most densely populated towns alongside Port of Spain, San Fernando, Chaguanas and Arima. The town's skyline is dominated by Fort King George, an 18th-century fortification named after King George III, which now hosts a historic and archaeologic museum. Scarborough's deepwater harbour was built in 1991; before that ships were forced to anchor offshore.
Couva is an urban town in west-central Trinidad, south of Port of Spain and Chaguanas and north of San Fernando and Point Fortin. It is the capital and main urban centre of Couva–Tabaquite–Talparo, and the Greater Couva area includes the Point Lisas industrial estate and the port of Point Lisas. It is one of the fastest-growing towns in the country. Couva's southern boundary is at the village of California and Point Lisas, and to the north Couva stretches to McBean. To the east of Couva is Preysal. To the west of Couva is the road to Waterloo and Carli Bay, which are located on the Gulf of Paria. Couva was part of the Caroni County. Couva is considered a major power base for the United National Congress, whose headquarters was previously located here.

Camden Base is a small airstrip in Couva, Trinidad. Crop dusting aircraft use this airstrip; drag racing also takes place on the airstrip. The Camden (Field) Auxiliary Air Base was established in 1942 as an emergency airstrip. It included one paved 3,000 ft x 75 ft runway with extensive taxiways and dispersed camouflaged parking bays for USAAC, USN and RN. It was defended by US Army infantry and AAA units.
Keshorn "Keshie" Walcott, ORTT is a Trinidadian track and field athlete who competes in the javelin throw. He is an Olympic champion, having won gold in 2012. He is the first Caribbean male athlete, as well as the first of African descent, to win the gold medal in a throwing event in the history of the Olympics. He is also the holder of the North, Central American and Caribbean junior record.

Chacachacare Lighthouse was an active lighthouse located in the north part of Chacachacare atop a hill at an elevation of 236 metres (774 ft). The tower was built in 1897 in masonry with a cylindrical shape with balcony and lantern which is positioned at a height of 251 metres (823 ft) above sea level. The tower is painted white and has a height of 15 metres (49 ft), the lantern is painted red. While the lighthouse was active, it emitted one white flash in a ten seconds period visible up to 26 nautical miles.
