Crush is a four-issue comic book mini-series created in 2003 by Jason Hall (writer) and Sean Murphy (artist), and published by Dark Horse Comics.
Elizabeth Mason is a girl in a dysfunctional family who unwittingly changes into a monster named Crush whenever she bleeds. In her alternate form, Elizabeth seeks revenge against anyone who makes her daily life miserable. To make matters worse, the masked Mr. Vesper sends his minions to try to capture her. Along with her friends, Elizabeth makes an effort to figure out the mystery of her past and the identity of her true family.
A collection of all four issues was published on August 25, 2004.

Toradora! is a Japanese light novel series by Yuyuko Takemiya, with illustrations by Yasu. A manga adaptation by Zekkyō started serialization in the September 2007 issue of the shōnen manga magazine Dengeki Comic Gao!, published by MediaWorks. The manga ended serialization in Dengeki Comic Gao! with the March 2008 issue, but continued serialization in ASCII Media Works' manga magazine Dengeki Daioh with the May 2008 issue.
"Pigeons from Hell" is a horror short story by American writer Robert E. Howard, written in late 1934 and published posthumously by Weird Tales in 1938. The title comes from an image in Howard's grandmother's ghost stories, that of a deserted plantation mansion haunted by pigeons. It was re-written and adapted by Joe R. Lansdale with art by Nathan Fox and published in four issues by Dark Horse Comics, starting in April 2008.
