Track cycling is a bicycle racing sport usually held on specially built banked tracks or velodromes using purpose-designed track bicycles.
Annette Edmondson is an Australian former cyclist who competed on the track with Cycling Australia's High Performance Unit (HPU). She also competed on the road for the Wiggle High5 team between 2015 and 2018.

The event took place at the Sangalhos Velodrome in Sangalhos, Portugal from 19 to 23 July 2017.
The 2017 Pan American Track Cycling Championships took place at the National Cycling Centre, in Couva, Trinidad & Tobago, from 30 August to 3 September 2017. The event served as a qualifier for the 2018 Central American and Caribbean Games and the United States won the event.

The cycling competition at the 2018 Central American and Caribbean Games was held from 20 to 29 July. The BMX events were held at Villa Carolina, the mountain biking events were held at the Pista Pelicanos, the road cycling events were held at Dapa Mall, Palmira and Buga and the track cycling events were held at the Velódromo Alcides Nieto Patiño
The 2018 UEC European Track Championships is the 18th continental championships for European under-23 and junior track cyclists, and the 9th since the event was renamed following the reorganisation of European track cycling in 2010. The event took place at the World Cycling Centre in Aigle, Switzerland from 21 to 26 August 2018.
The 2019 UCI Track Cycling World Championships were held in Pruszków, Poland from 27 February to 3 March 2019.
