The DEC Salzburg Eagles are an Austrian ice hockey club in the European Women's Hockey League (EWHL). They play in Salzburg, Austria at the Eisarena Salzburg.
The club was founded as EC The Ravens Salzburg in 2001 and was the first women's ice hockey enterprise established in Salzburg. It was renamed Damen Eishockey Club (DEC) Salzburg Eagles (lit. 'Ladies' Ice Hockey Club Salzburg Eagles') in 2010.
The Ravens gained promotion to the Dameneishockey-Bundesliga (DEBL) at the end of their first season, 2001–02. They made their DEBL debut in the 2002–03 season and continued in the league for the 2003–04 and 2004–05 seasons.
In 2005, they left the DEBL to join the multi-national Elite Women's Hockey League (EWHL; renamed European Women's Hockey League in 2019).
The Austrian championship title was awarded to the winner of the DEBL playoffs until a separate tournament for the Austrian national ice hockey championship (German : Österreichische Eishockey-Staatsmeisterschaft) was introduced in the 2005–06 season.
The Deutsche Eishockey Liga or DEL, is a German professional ice hockey league and the highest division in German ice hockey. Founded in 1994, it was formed as a replacement for the Eishockey-Bundesliga and became the new top-tier league in Germany as a result. Unlike the old Bundesliga, the DEL is not under the administration of the German Ice Hockey Federation.

It was founded by the IIHF in 2011 in an effort to provided opportunity for clubs to compete and compare themselves against teams from other European leagues. In 2024 the cup was renamed EWHL Euro Cup.
Janine Weber is an Austrian professional ice hockey player and member of the Austrian national team who mostly recently played in the now defunct Premier Hockey Federation (PHF) with the Connecticut Whale. She previously played with the Boston Pride and the New York Riveters of the National Women's Hockey League, the Boston Blades of the Canadian Women's Hockey League (CWHL), and the EHV Sabres Wien and Ravens Salzburg of the Elite Women's Hockey League (EWHL). With the Blades, Weber scored the game-winning goal of the 2015 Clarkson Cup.
