DFA (short for Duty Free Area) was an Italian progressive rock band from Verona, Italy. Their musical style is varied, but has elements of "space rock" bands such as Pink Floyd and jazz-rock fusion bands like Nova or In Cahoots.
The Italian progressive rock band D.F.A. is not related to DFA Records, the Canadian indie-synth rock band Death from Above 1979, Los Angeles metal band Dark Fuckin' Angel or the German electro-punk band D.A.F. (Deutsch Amerikanische Freundschaft).

Edwin Jobson is an English musician noted for his use of synthesizers. He has been a member of several progressive rock bands, including Curved Air, Roxy Music, U.K. and Jethro Tull. He was also part of Frank Zappa's band in 1976–77. Aside from his keyboard work Jobson has also gained acclaim for his violin playing. He won the Lifetime Achievement Award at the 2017 Progressive Music Awards. In March 2019 Jobson was inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame as a member of Roxy Music.
Ozric Tentacles are an English instrumental rock band, whose music incorporates elements from a diverse range of genres, including psychedelic rock, progressive rock, space rock, jazz fusion, electronic music, dub music, world music, and ambient music. Formed in Somerset in 1983, the band has released over 30 albums selling over a million copies worldwide despite never having signed to a major recording label. Throughout many line-up changes over the years, co-founder and guitarist Ed Wynne has remained the only original member of the band. The band is now credited as one of the major influences of the UK festival scene's re-emergence, becoming particularly associated with the Glastonbury Festival and their handmade series of cassette releases, mostly sold at gigs and through a fan club.
