Forrest Schab, known by his stage name DY (born 1984), was a Canadian rapper raised in Vancouver, British Columbia. In 2009, he signed to CP Records.
His stage name is an acronym deriving from his nickname Die Young. [1] DY started making music independently at the age of 14 winning several emcee competitions and releasing solo material.
An album was in the making in cooperation with CP Record artist Belly. His first single "Passenger" featuring another CP Record artist Danny Fernandes was released in October 2009. Upon the release, he was featured on Billboard February 19, 2010 issue as one of the best emerging Canadian artists. [2] A special remix version by DJ Jedi was also released. [3]
On November 18, 2010, DY was reported missing in Mexico. [4] In mid-August 2010, Schab made plans to fly to Mexico and disappeared with no one hearing from him for months. Canadian police were investigating his whereabouts. [5] On December 10, 2010, his family released another statement expressing their grave worry regarding DY's disappearance. [6] Various media sources speculate his disappearance is related to drugs and links to organized crime.
Just prior to his disappearance, he shot a music video for his second single called "That's My Spot" featuring former Danity Kane member D. Woods, and his contract with CP Records was terminated.
House of Pain was an American hip hop trio that released three albums in the 1990s. The group consisted of DJ Lethal, Danny Boy, and Everlast. They are best known for their 1992 hit single "Jump Around", which reached number 3 in their native United States of America, number 6 in Ireland and number 8 in the United Kingdom. Jedi Mind Tricks (JMT) are an American underground hip hop group from Philadelphia, founded in 1996 by two high school friends, rapper Vinnie Paz and producer Stoupe the Enemy of Mankind. In 1999, rapper Jus Allah joined the group to record their second studio album, Violent by Design. Jus left the group shortly after, but returned in late 2006 and began working on the sixth studio album, A History of Violence. In 2011 Stoupe left the group because "his heart wasn't in making JMT records anymore". In 2013, Jus split from the group indefinitely, and Stoupe returned in 2015.

Patrick Kim McDermott was a Korean-American cameraman who disappeared on June 30, 2005, while on an overnight fishing trip off the coast of Los Angeles, California. He was the on-and-off boyfriend of Olivia Newton-John. The United States Coast Guard concluded that he was likely lost at sea. Since his disappearance, unsubstantiated claims have been made, particularly in the Australian media, that McDermott faked his own death and is still alive in Mexico.

In 2004, its creation started when Danny Boy brought two young artists, Slaine and Big Left, to meet Dj Lethal his DJ from his former group House of Pain. They decided to make a group, whose name came about when O'Connor teased other members with that nickname after they had a night out. They started releasing music on MySpace.
