Dana L. Murray (born January 18, 1946) is a former American Democrat politician who served in the Missouri House of Representatives.
Born in Harrisburg, Illinois, she graduated from Normandy High School in 1964. [1] [2] [3]

During his tenure, he served as the chairman of the House Armed Services Committee. He was a member of the Democratic Party. On November 2, 2010, he unexpectedly lost his seat to Republican Vicky Hartzler amid a Republican landslide. Notably, he was one of three Democratic committee chairmen to lose reelection in the 2010 midterm cycle, alongside House Budget Committee chairman John Spratt of South Carolina and House Transportation and Infrastructure Committee chairman Jim Oberstar of Minnesota.

In 2022, he defeated Democrat Kristen Radaker-Sheafer in the race for Missouri's 7th congressional district.
The 2012 United States Senate election in Missouri was held on November 6, 2012, concurrently with the 2012 presidential election, other elections to the United States Senate in other states, as well as elections to the United States House of Representatives and various state and local elections. Incumbent U.S. Senator Claire McCaskill was unopposed in the Democratic primary and U.S. Representative Todd Akin won the Republican nomination with a plurality in a close three-way race. McCaskill was re-elected to a second term. As of 2022, this was the last time the Democrats won a U.S. Senate election in Missouri.

The incumbent Missouri Attorney General Chris Koster, a Democrat, won re-election for a second full term against Republican attorney Ed Martin. Dana Ford is an American college basketball coach who is the head coach for Missouri State University since March 21, 2018. Prior to coaching the Bears, he was the head coach at Tennessee State from 2014 through the 2018 season. Ford is a former basketball player, having played at Illinois State from 2002 to 2006. After not being selected in the 2006 NBA draft, the Tamms, Illinois native joined the Tennessee State Tigers coaching staff under head coach John Cooper. He has previously been with Wichita State and Illinois State through his coaching career, playing a key role in the teams' recruiting and overall success.
The 2022 United States House of Representatives elections were held on November 8, 2022, as part of the 2022 United States elections during incumbent president Joe Biden's term. The elections were held to elect representatives from all 435 U.S. congressional districts across each of the 50 states, as well as five non-voting members of the U.S. House of Representatives from the District of Columbia and four of the five inhabited insular areas. The winners of this election will serve in the 118th United States Congress. Numerous other federal, state, and local elections, including the 2022 U.S. Senate elections, were also held on the same date. At the time of the election, the Democratic Party had held a majority in the House since January 3, 2019, as a result of the 2018 elections, when they won 235 seats; their majority was reduced to 222 seats in 2020.
Harley Edwin Rouda, Jr. is an American attorney, businessman and politician who served as the U.S. representative for California's 48th congressional district from 2019 to 2021. He was the first Democrat to represent the district, which encompasses southwestern coastal portions of Orange County including the cities of Huntington Beach, Costa Mesa and Newport Beach. Rouda first ran for office in the 2018 election, when he defeated 15-term Republican incumbent Dana Rohrabacher. He was defeated for reelection by Orange County Supervisor Michelle Steel in 2020. On January 13, 2021, Rouda announced he would challenge Steel again the following year – though after redistricting post-census, and a brief consideration of challenging incumbent representative Katie Porter, Rouda announced he would not any seek public office that cycle.
