Daniel Ziebig (born 21 January 1983) is a German former professional footballer who played as a left-back.
Born in Elsterwerda, East Germany, Ziebig began his career with Dynamo Dresden, making his debut in 2001, when the club was languishing in the Oberliga (IV). He quickly became a key player, as the club managed two promotions in three years, reaching the 2. Bundesliga in 2004. Injury meant he missed most of Dynamo's first season at this level, but he had shown enough promise to attract the interest of Hamburger SV, whom he joined after Dynamo's relegation. In his first six months in Hamburg, Ziebig was a regular in HSV's reserve team, in the Regionalliga (III).
Ziebig joined 2. Bundesliga side Energie Cottbus on loan in January 2006, and helped them earn promotion to the Bundesliga, before signing a permanent deal with the club. He made 150 appearances for Cottbus in seven years, before joining Hallescher FC on a six-month loan in January 2013. He was signed by manager Sven Köhler, who had been a player/coach when Ziebig came through at Dynamo Dresden. He made the move to Halle permanent in July 2013.

The DDR-Oberliga was the top-level association football league in East Germany.
The NOFV-Oberliga is a division at step 5 of the German football league system. After the fall of the Berlin Wall, it became the successor of the DDR-Oberliga, and functions today as a 5th division in the former territory of East Germany and the city of Berlin.
Lars Jungnickel is a German former professional footballer. Early in his career, he played as a forward and later as a midfielder, most notably for Dynamo Dresden.
Torsten Gütschow is a German football manager and former player who played as a striker. He is most associated with Dynamo Dresden, with whom he had two successful spells, playing top level football in East Germany and after reunification. In between these he played for three other German clubs, and spent six months with Galatasaray of the Turkish Süper Lig. A strong and instinctive goalscorer, Gütschow was top scorer in each of the last three seasons of the DDR-Oberliga, and was the last East German Footballer of the Year. He won three international caps for East Germany, scoring two goals between 1984 and 1989. Since retiring he has taken up coaching, and has been manager of TuS Heeslingen.

The NOFV-Oberliga Süd is the fifth tier of the German football league system in the southern states of the former East Germany. It covers the German states of Saxony-Anhalt, Thuringia, Saxony and southern Brandenburg. It is one of fourteen Oberligas in German football. Until the introduction of the 3. Liga in 2008 it was the fourth tier of the league system, and until the introduction of the Regionalligas in 1994 the third tier.
