The Royal Danish Air Force conducts the annual Danish Air Show at one of its three air bases (AB), Aalborg Air Base, Air Base Karup or Air Base Skrydstrup. In 2005 Karup AB, in 2006 Skrydstrup AB in 2007 Aalborg AB and in 2008 Karup AB. No airshow was held in 2009. The Danish Air Show 2010 was again held at Skrydstrup AB. In 2012 it took place at Aalborg AB.
Currently the air show is held at the civilian Roskilde Airport in the vicinity of the Danish capitol in odd years - and at an air base in even years.
Between 80,000 and 100,000 spectators visit the show, where various military and civilian aircraft perform flying display and static display, furthermore there is a number of exhibitions of Danish military units and various civilian companies with relation to aviation. In 2016 the show beat both national and international records, when more than 150,000 spectators visits Skrydstrup AB.
The 2018 Air Show took place at Aalborg AB.
The 2020 Air Show was first postponed to 2021 and later completely cancelled. (The Air Show at Roskilde Airport scheduled for 2021 was cancelled, too.)
The 2022 Air Show took place at Karup AB.
The 2024 Air Show is announced to take place at Aalborg AB.

Transport in Denmark is developed and modern. The motorway network covers 1,111 km while the railway network totals 2,667 km of operational track. The Great Belt Fixed Link connecting the islands of Zealand and Funen and the New Little Belt Bridge connecting Funen and Jutland greatly improved the traffic flow across the country on both motorways and rail. The two largest airports of Copenhagen and Billund provide a variety of domestic and international connections, while ferries provide services to the Faroe Islands, Greenland, Iceland, Germany, Sweden, and Norway, as well as domestic routes servicing most Danish islands.
Tourism in Denmark is a growing industry and a major economic contributor: tourists spent a total of DKK 128 billion and the tourism industry employed 161,999 people in full time positions in 2017.
The Royal Danish Air Force (RDAF) is the aerial warfare force of the Kingdom of Denmark and one of the four branches of the Danish Armed Forces. Initially being components of the Army and the Navy, it was made a separate service in 1950. Its main purpose is to serve as enforcer of Danish airspace and to provide air support to Danish group troops on the battlefield.
The Farnborough Airshow, officially the Farnborough International Airshow, is a trade exhibition for the aerospace and defence industries, where civilian and military aircraft are demonstrated to potential customers and investors. Since its first show in 1948, Farnborough has seen the debut of many famous aeroplanes, including the Vickers VC10, Concorde, the Eurofighter, the Airbus A380, and the Lockheed Martin F-35 Lightning II. At the 1958 show, Hawker Hunters the RAF's Black Arrows executed a 22-aircraft formation loop, setting a new world record.
Aalborg Air Base also Air Transport Wing Aalborg is a military air base for the Royal Danish Air Force. It is located at Vadum, near Aalborg, Denmark. Aalborg Air Base shares its runway system as well as some services with Aalborg Lufthavn.
The Canadian International Air Show (CIAS) is an annual air show in Toronto, Ontario, Canada. The show is an aeronautical display of military, government and civilian aircraft, primarily from Canada and the United States. The show takes place along Toronto's waterfront for three days during the Canadian Labour Day weekend. The show began in 1946 and has been held at Exhibition Place since 1949.
Aalborg Airport is a dual-use (civilian/military) airport located in Nørresundby, Aalborg Municipality, Denmark, which is 3.5 NM northwest of Aalborg.

Naval Air Station Keflavik (NASKEF) was a United States Navy air station at Keflavík International Airport, Iceland, located on the Reykjanes peninsula on the south-west portion of the island. NASKEF was closed on 8 September 2006, and its facilities were taken over by the Icelandic Defence Agency as their primary base until 1 January 2011, when the Agency was abolished and the base handed over to the Icelandic Coast Guard, which has since then operated the base. US forces would return to Keflavik starting from 2016.
Midtjyllands Airport, formerly known as Karup Airport, is an airport in Denmark. The airport is situated 3 km west of the town of Karup and carries passengers primarily from nine municipalities in mid- and west Jutland that also own the airport. Air Base Karup, the primary base of the Royal Danish Air Force, is situated within the airport.
The Oregon International Air Show - formerly the "Portland Rose Festival Air Show" - is an annual event held in Oregon, United States. The event began in 1988, and has an average annual attendance of 55,000. Profits from the show are distributed to local charities.

The Danish Navy Air Squadron, was the aerial component of the Danish navy, from 1977 to December 31, 2010. Operationally it was directly under command of the Danish Naval Command, but maintenance of the eight Westland Lynx helicopters and training of personnel was in cooperation with the air force. The helicopters were used primarily for fishery patrol, shipboard support and coastal Search & Rescue (SAR) missions.
The Biggin Hill International Air Show, or Biggin Hill Air Fair, was one of the largest civilian airshows in the world and the largest privately organised air show in Europe. It ran once a year, usually near the end of June, at London Biggin Hill Airport, a former World War II RAF fighter station, from 1963 to 2010. It has been succeeded by a smaller-scale air show event titled The Festival of Flight which was launched in June 2014.
The Great State of Maine Air Show is an airshow held in August at Brunswick Executive Airport in Brunswick, Maine. After being run for a number of years by Naval Air Station Brunswick, the event returned in 2011 with an all-volunteer base.
The following is a hierarchical outline for the Danish armed forces at the end of the Cold War. It is intended to convey the connections and relationships between units and formations. In wartime all Danish military units would have come under the joint West German/Danish NATO command Allied Forces Baltic Approaches (BALTAP). BALTAP was a principal subordinate command under the Allied Forces Northern Europe Command (AFNORTH). The commander-in-chief of (BALTAP) was always a Danish Lieutenant General or Vice Admiral, who had the designation Commander Allied Forces Baltic Approaches (COMBALTAP). In peacetime BALTAP had only a few communication units allocated and all other units remained under national command of West Germany's Bundeswehr and Denmark's Forsvaret.
The 2021–22 Danish Cup, also known as Sydbank Pokalen, is the 68th season of the Danish Cup competition. The winner is qualified for the Europa League play-off round.
