Danse avec les stars is the French version of the British reality TV competition Strictly Come Dancing and is part of the Dancing with the Stars franchise. The show was first broadcast on TF1 on 12 February 2011, the participants having been selected in November 2010. The first series finale took place on 19 March 2011. A second series was broadcast between 8 October – 19 November 2011. Since then TF1 has chosen to broadcast the program once a year, in the autumn. All revenues from the sale of the record go into Sidaction, a major French public event that started in 1994 in France for raising awareness and collecting charitable funds for AIDS. It donates important sums to various AIDS charities, HIV/AIDS research, institutions specializing in medical care and social aid for those suffering of HIV/AIDS in France and internationally.
The Voice Kids is a French music talent show for aspiring singers aged 6 to 15, based on the concept of the show The Voice: la plus belle voix. The first broadcast took place on 23 August 2014 on TF1. Unlike the adult version, during seasons 1 to 4, there were only three coaches. From season 5 onward, a fourth coach was added, following the adaptation of the original Dutch version.
