David Baldwin is an English football executive who served as CEO of the English Football League between June and December 2020. In October 2022 he became Managing Director of Huddersfield Town.

Career

Baldwin played football for the youth team of Bradford City. [1]

He was appointed to the role of CEO of the English Football League in December 2019, replacing Shaun Harvey, [2] [3] and officially began on 17 June 2020. [4] He previously held executive roles at Bradford City and Burnley. [5] Whilst at Burnley, in December 2018 he was nominated for the Premier League CEO of the Year at the Football Business awards. [6]

On 12 October 2020 it was announced that Baldwin would step down from his role with the EFL in six months time. [7] [8] He was replaced by Trevor Birch, who began his job on 1 January 2021. [9]

Baldwin is also part owner of the RIASA football academy in Leeds, alongside founder Mark Ellis. [10] [11]

In October 2022 he became Managing Director of Huddersfield Town, having worked for the club as a Strategic Advisor since May 2022. [12]

Birch has worked at Ernst & Young, BDO International, and Duff & Phelps.

Ralph Rimmer is a rugby league administrator who was the Chief Executive Officer of the Rugby Football League from 2018 to 2022. He was appointed the full-time chief executive after a period of being the interim CEO. He held the post of Chief Operating Officer for the RFL before being appointed CEO. He was appointed to the role of COO in 2010.

Andrew Derek Bara Kiwomya is an English former professional footballer who played as both a left winger and a striker. Kiwomya was notably employed by Huddersfield Town as head performance coach in 2010 in this role Huddersfield went on to achieve a 43-game unbeaten run.

Shaun Antony Harvey is an English former football executive. Harvey was the chief executive of the English Football League having formerly been the CEO of Leeds United, as well as a club director. Prior to joining Leeds, Harvey was managing director at Bradford City. In June 2011, Harvey was elected to the Football League board of Directors and on 29 July 2013 became its Chief Executive. On 18 February 2019, he announced his resignation, effective at the end of the 2018-2019 season.
