David O'Brien (born 24 January 1984) is a Scottish former professional footballer who played as a left-sided midfielder, for home-town side Stirling University now acts as a coach. [1] He has also played for Stirling Albion, Dundee and Ayr United.
O'Brien started his career with Stirling Albion in 2001, after joining from amateur side Denny Amateurs, and helped them win the Second Division play-off final against Airdrie United in 2007. In January 2007, he signed a pre-contract agreement with Dundee, moving to Tayside in May 2007. [2] At the end of the 2007–08 season, he signed a one-year contract extension with the Dens Park side. [3] He failed to have his contract renewed when it expired in 2009. [4]
On 15 June 2009, Ayr United announced that they had signed O'Brien. He left the Honest Men on 3 August 2009, after not being selected to play against his old club Stirling Albion on 1 August 2009. O'Brien met with the manager Brian Reid, and after a short discussion he left the club.
He rejoined his home-town team, Stirling Albion, on 6 August 2009.
After his contract expired at Stirling, he joined manager Allan Moore at new club Greenock Morton. [5] O'Brien signed on for another season in May 2012. [6] He again signed a one-year deal in May 2013. [7] He left Morton in the summer of 2014 after failing to recover from an injury sustained at Celtic Park.
In August 2016, he signed for Junior side Camelon Juniors where he stayed for a season before signing for Stirling University. [8]

David Robertson is a Scottish former professional footballer, who played as an attacking midfielder for Dundee United, St Johnstone, Greenock Morton, Livingston, Ayr United, Selkirk and Cowdenbeath. Robertson retired from football in January 2017 after being found in a civil trial to have committed rape with fellow footballer David Goodwillie.

Derek Lyle is a Scottish former footballer who played as a striker. Lyle played for Partick Thistle, Queen of the South (two spells), Dundee, Hamilton Academical (two spells), Greenock Morton, Cowdenbeath, Peterhead and Broomhill. Lyle also had loan spells with East Stirlingshire, Stirling Albion, Dunfermline Athletic and the Doonhamers. Lyle's longest time in his career was spent with Queen of the South in Dumfries, where he scored 117 goals in 365 appearances over two spells with the club.

Season 2011–12 sees Greenock Morton compete in their fifth consecutive season in the First Division, having finished 7th in the 2010–11 season.
The 2009–10 season was Dundee's 5th consecutive season in the Scottish First Division following their relegation from the SPL in 2005. Dundee finished as runners-up in the league, losing out to Inverness Caledonian Thistle. The Dee reached the quarter-finals in both the Scottish Cup & Scottish League Cup and were winners of the Challenge Cup for the second time in the club's history and first since 1991.
The 2016–17 season is the club's second season in the Scottish Championship. St Mirren will also compete in the Challenge Cup, the League Cup and the Scottish Cup.
